'Inception' and 'Social Network' Win WGA Awards

 Moviemaker Christopher Nolan and writer Aaron Sorkin were the toast of Hollywood on Saturday, February 5 after claiming the top prizes at the annual Writers Guild of America Awards. Nolan's "Inception" claimed the Original Screenplay honor, while Sorkin's "The Social Network" was named Best Adapted Screenplay.

Sorkin's "The Social Network" is now a clear Oscar favorite after winning gold at
the Golden Globes and the coveted Scripters Award in Los Angeles on Friday, February 4. Original Screenplay Oscar favorite "The King's Speech" was ineligible under WGA rules.

The 2011 Writers Guild Award also honored TV scribes. The complete list of winners can be seen on the official website.
