Abhishek Bachchan: The Acid Test With The Release Of ‘Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey’

Abhishek Bachchan is the actor in B town who is right on an acid test with the release of the Ashutosh Gowarikar flick ‘Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey’.
Abhishek has had quite a trying time with his not so blooming career in films in recent times. The actor has appeared in this period film in a very asserting role of a protagonist named Surjya Sen who becomes the inspiration behind a group of youngsters into joining the freedom movement.
The most inspiring tale in history has been dealt with in the film as the Chittagong uprising during the 1930’s has been used as the basic backdrop of the film.
Abhishek Bachchan, who had been bestowed with quite a lot of critical acclaim for his role in Guru, has never really been able to reach that level of popularity after that film. Thus with this powerful inspiring role as the historical character many hopes are pinned on the film to be well appreciated.
‘Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey’ is based on a book by Manini Chatterjee  titled Do or Die and every detail mentioned in the book has been followed to the hilt.
The movie is on the brink of being judged as its release has caused quite an interest. Abhishek Bachchan who is the protagonist school teacher in the film has a very big task on his shoulders to inspire 50 youngsters in the film to go for the simultaneous attack that was planned against the British in five different places during a single night. The plot is quite interesting and so is the backdrop.
Let’s just hope Abhishek’s work in the film speaks about his great talent as an actor and he stands out and through this film to prove his prowess as an experienced actor from Bollywood.

Priyanka Chopra:The Challenging Role In ‘Saat Khoon Maaf’

Priyanka Chopra ,the hot shot gal in tinsel town who has the big project ‘Saat Khoon Maaf’,a  Vishal Bharadwaj flick amongst her upcoming projects has done considerably well in the movie as the woman who marries seven different men, killing  them one after the other.
The movie has her in a very different role of an ambitious lady who aspires to be quite independent in her thoughts and actions. There have been reports of Priyanka saying that this film has been one of the toughest ever for her in terms of performance.
If the grapevine is to be believed, the challenging role in the movie has Priyanka in her best performance on screen till date.
This is not the first time that Priyanka has played a character which is somewhat of a challenge. The gal has also featured in the flick ‘What’s Your Rashee’ where she has portrayed twelve different characters depicting girls born under the twelve zodiac signs of the horoscope. Although the movie was not a super hit, it did win Priyanka some brownie points on the acting front.
In ‘Saat Khoon Maaf’ Priyanka has enacted the role of a mature woman with some very intimate scenes too. This transition in her image is something that her fans are looking forward to see her in.
The fact that she gets married to seven different men, all belonging to a different age group and all basically having different personalities with various shades of the good and the bad, has Priyanka dealing with each character in a different way.
Basically the movie deals with the complexities of the human character which is quite an interesting aspect and according to reports this is certainly going to be one of Priyanka’s most  critically acclaimed films.

Farah Khan: Her Gut Feeling Inspires Music Duo Vishal Shekhar

Farah Khan the ace director of B town is also known for her great taste in music. According to reports, the director who has her movie Tees Maar Khan soon to be released has some of the best numbers in it. The music in the movie has been given by the popular music composers of Bollywood, Vishal- Shekhar.
This duo has a very good rapport with the director and they have delivered their goods in the right perspective in the film.
The music duo have gone on to say that their music for the songs in the film becoming such a rage is due to the fact that the director Farah Khan kept wanting a new and catchy tune each time they came up with something. Farah Khan’s instant gut feeling has inspired Vishal- Shekhar and they insist that she had a lot to do with the ultimate soundtrack of Tees Maar Khan, which has turned out to be astounding.
Thus when ultimately the soundtracks for the songs did get finalized they were all much better than expected. The hot item number Sheila Ki Jawani is rather a rendition that spells magic only due to Farah Khan’s great taste in music according to reports.Vishal- Shekhar who are names that have given great music in flicks like Om Shanti Om, Anjaana Anjaani, I Hate Love Story’s etc, have experienced Farah’s deep sense of music right from the time they had worked in her film Om Shanti Om.
Well this is the same duo that is also composing the music for the upcoming SRK home production RA.ONE.

Salman Khan- The star With The Golden Heart Made Sanjay Leela Bhansali Go Weak In The Knees

Salman Khan the hunk with a Golden heart has gone against the wind due to his comment on the Sanjay Leela Bhansali flick Guzaarish. Recently, Salman Khan had said that not even a mosquito had gone to see the flick. Now something like this coming from a man of Salman’s stature was quite a shock for everyone connected with the flick, to say the least.
This comment made Sanjay Leela Bhansali go quite weak in the knees. Reports are that he was quite hurt as Salman Khan is amongst his best friends, and they have worked together too with the movie Hum Dil Chuke Sanam being one of the most popular hits.
Reportedly Sanjay Leela Bhansali said that if his best of friends would come out with such comments then he would rather leave the industry.
There also is Hrithik Roshan who feels that a star of Salman Khan’s stature  should be humble and spread love rather than say such things which do nothing but hurt other’s sentiments. Especially considering the fact that Sanjay Leela Bhansali is such a big name in the industry, he should be respected at all costs, rrespective of the fact whether his films did well or not.
Salman Khan who is considered one of the most iconic figures in the B town industry is of course always taken seriously whenever he makes certain observations or passes any sort of comment, but with such statements one only hopes that the damages are repaired soon without much ado about the comments.
The fact that all three Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali are big names in Bollywood no one would want to see them at loggerheads for such matters.

A R Rahman at GIMA: "My Dad Used To Look At Lata Mageshkar’s Photo Every …

The first edition of Global Music Indian Awards (GIMA) has become a platform of emotional outburst for all the Indian musicians. It has started a trend and set a landmark in the Indian music industry that will be remembered for years.
The renowned names of the music Industry was present at the event and they shared their feelings on the occasion. Academy Award winner Indian music maestro A R Rahman also got very emotional when he was entrusted with the responsibility of presenting the prestigious ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ to legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar. Her famous sister Asha Bhosle was also called upon the stage to accompany Rahman while offering the coveted award.
The humble musician said that his father was a great fan of Lataji and Ashaji and he used to get inspiration for composing songs by looking at her photo every morning. Rahman said that his mother said that his father had a photo of the singer in a white sari. He said that his father would be very happy if he were with them today.
It has been also a very emotional moment for the two legendary singer sisters because they shared the same stage after so many years and Lataji received the award for a non-film album for the first time at GIMA. Her devotional album on ‘Hanuman Chalisa’ earned her the Best devotional music award.
Subramanium family was another lucky musician family that was felicitated with the ‘Best fusion award’. The entire family was awarded for their performance on ‘Live At Neues Gewandhaus Leipzig Germany’ album. Veteran singer Kavita Krishnamurthy said that it was a proud moment for them because it is their first award as a family.
Reportedly the duo has worked very hard for the two upcoming projects. ‘Tees Maar Khan’ is an out an out action oriented film which has a very suspense thriller flavor to it, so the music in it will also have that flavor in it. RA.ONE is basically a flick based on science fiction, so it has some very tech oriented bass music in it. So the coming months are going to be a great treat in terms of great songs and item numbers!

Koffee With Karan: Saif Ali Khan & Kareena Kapoor’s Shocking Revelations!

Karan Johar has invited many Bollywood stars this season at his chat show ‘Koffee With Karan’ and this week the viewers will see Bollywood’s hottest couple Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor in a chit chat with the witty filmmaker.

The host knows very well how to dig out the weird things from the stars and he has done with Kareena also. He gave Bebo an option to choose the sexiest man from the list of Shahid Kapoor, John Abraham, Arjun Rampal, Hrithik Roshan and Imran Khan. The witty lady also knew well what the audience and the host wants to hear from her so she also took Shahid’s name instantly. Saif was probably not prepared for the shock so he looked a bit uneasy.

However, the ‘Chhote Nawab’ is also not dumb guy so he also uttered his boldest line ever on the show saying that he is very reliable, strong and very long! It seems the duo came prepared for providing all the necessary spices to the show.

Bebo also did not spare her arch rival Priyanka Chopra and mockingly said that if any actress has a little bit of ‘act’ then it is Priyanka and she is definitely placed in number two. In a way, Bebo made it clear that she is still the ruling queen in Bollywood.

Well, Priyanka might not bother to know about Bebo’s opinion about her but Shahid will definitely get delighted to know that his ex still finds him sexy!

"Appointment in Samarra" airs December 10 on The CW. Title of the episode is taken from an old folktale where a servant tells his master merchant that he had bumped onto Death while in the marketplace. Terrified, by Death's threatening gesture, the servant flees to Samarra, Baghdad where he thinks Death would not find him.

The merchant confronts Death but she tells him, "That was not a threatening gesture, it was only a start of surprise. I was astonished to see him in Baghdad, for I had an appointment with him tonight in Samarra."

'The Apprentice' Finale Part 1: And Then There Were Two

The first of the two-part finale on "The Apprentice" immediately saw the firing of Liza Mucheru. The December 2 episode started right after Steuart Martens was fired, during which Donald Trump ordered the three remaining contestants to come back to the boardroom for a second elimination.

Based on personalities, Trump decided to let go of Liza because while she was "outstanding in every way" she lacked on the interpersonal skills that would make her suitable for the Trump empire. After the elimination, Liza said, "I really value Mr Trump's opinion and to hear that he didn't think I get along with people really hurt. It's hard to know that I got so close."

This left the finale to Brandy Kuentzel and Clint Robertson who each had to team up with some of the fired contestants in the final task. Brandy picked Liza, Stephanie Castagnier and Anand Vasudev while Robert got Mahsa Saeidi-Azcuy, Poppy Carlig and Steuart. Brandy's team was to put up a VIP golf tournament featuring Kathy Griffin while Clint's was to organize a dinner gala with Liza Minnelli.

Brandy admitted that she was not familiar with the sport but was glad that Liza was a player. She assigned Liza and Anand to arrange for gift certificates for the tournament's attendants but her crew went with another kind of gifts. The photographer for the event then informed them that he went into the wrong golf course, and was two-hours away from the actual venue.

Things were not smooth for Clint as well. Steuart was given the responsibility to take care of the catering but the food company called to say that they might be late. Clint took the drastic measure of changing to another caterer. Also, Poppy and Mahsa found out too late that "Liza Minnelli" only had one N in the spelling of the poster.

The first part ended here with all the mess. The finale will air next week on NBC.

'Walking Dead' Producers Deny Firing and Reveal Season 2 Plan

"The Walking Dead" producers are debunking the rumor about staff firing and confirming a Fall comeback at the same time. Gale Ann Hurd who works with Frank Darabont as executive producers said the story originating from Deadline is not true, saying his co-worker is not firing the writers staff for the option of freelancers.

In fact, co-creator Charles "Chic" Eglee is not dismissed but he left on his own accord. "[In] the writers' room, there are people that have set up other projects that will be their first priority if their own series is picked up as a pilot or if it's a series. I think [Eglee] just decided that he wants to run his own show," Hurd explained to EW.

In a different interview, exec producer Robert Kirkman whose comic is adapted into the series also clarified about Chic's departure. He said, "Chic Eglee is a high-level television writer. He was brought onto The Walking Dead with the idea that Frank was going to work on the first season and then go off and do movies."

"Chic didn't want to be second-in-command on a show when he's used to being a top dog, and so he decided to go off and do something else, which is something that happens and is not a big deal." He added that the initial report is "unfortunate", "premature" and makes Darabont look bad.

When asked about any truth at all, Kirkman said, "It's a little premature to be nailing down. I don't know if it's going to be a freelance situation or if we're going to have writers in a writers' room. That's something that's being worked on now."

Hurd said that Darabont and Kirkman would sit down the beginning of next year and begin "mapping out". It is thus most likely that the production would only start in the second quarter of 2011 and the premiere would take place in October for Fearfest.

As for the return of the cast whose characters are still alive, Hurd confirmed that "every one of the principal cast is signed up for multiple seasons."

'Grey's Anatomy' January 2011 Return Preview

Recently away for a Thanksgiving break, "Grey's Anatomy" once again takes a long hiatus to return with a new episode on January 6, 2011. ABC gives no reason to this apart from announcing that game show "Wipeout" would accompany it upon return at 8/7c.

Meanwhile, star Chandra Wilson takes the opportunity to shed the light on the planned musical episode. "Everyone keeps calling this a 'musical episode,' but really it's about the music of Grey's Anatomy," Wilson told People at the Hollywood premiere of "Frankie and Alice".

"We're basically taking iconic songs from the show, songs that everyone knows, or has heard, and we're going to bring them to life through the characters on the show." She added, "We're still going to do a Grey's show. But instead, the music will be essential to what's happening."

Wilson has the experience in musical theater and so does Sara Ramirez, but one person that people least expect to rock it out is Kevin McKidd. Wilson gushed, "Kevin McKidd is a rock star. We've had the pleasure of hearing him sing, and he's just a rock star! You'd be amazed."

'Vampire Diaries' 2.11 Preview Reveals Stefan-Katherine Hookup

Last night on "The Vampire Diaries" Stefan sacrificed himself to save Jeremy from the Tomb, resulting in him stuck inside with Katherine. But things do not go as awful as one expects for the vampires decide to "make the best of it".

The synopsis of the December 9 episode says Stefan and Katherine play mind games on one another. Nina Dobrev told TV Guide, "I have an especially steamy scene. I won't tell you which of my characters is involved or who her partner is, but it is sexy and shocking!" The preview below reveals all.

Also in the episode, as the full moon approaches, Caroline helps Tyler prepare for the transformation he is powerless to stop. "It would be interesting, right?" Michael Trevino told E! Online. "Because of the whole dynamic that a werewolf bite can kill and end a vampire. If it's a full moon, you can't control yourself, because werewolves always initially go after vampires. So that'd be kind of crazy."

Meanwhile, Damon and Alaric are suspicious when a stranger named Jules shows up in Mystic Falls, searching for her missing friend, Mason. "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" regular Michaela McManus plays Jules who will be seen in more than one episode.

Elena is frustrated at the lengths Jeremy and her friends have gone to in order to keep her safe. Bonnie and Luca work together on a spell, while still keeping secrets from one another. Finally, Elijah makes an unexpected appearance with an offer that could change everything.

Ward said growing up, she was taunted about her tall frame.

"It was really nerve racking going into the competition thinking I wasn't going to fit it or they wouldn't like my height, just like they did in the Dallas modeling industry, but once I was there I gained so much confidence," she continues. "I really embraced who I was while I was there. "

As a winner, Ward received a $100,000 contract with CoverGirl Cosmetics, a contract with IMG Models, the cover of Beauty In Vogue, fashion spreads in Vogue Italia and Beauty In Vogue, as well as a prominent feature on Vogue Italia's website, Vogue.it.

A trailer for "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" is promised to be released this December 13, but a look at some footage from the film has been obtained in a form of behind-the-scene video from Entertainment Tonight. According to HitFix, the studio "has begun quietly telling cast and crew to set aside a major block of time in the very near future so they can shoot 'Pirates 5' and 'Pirates 6'."

The site further claims Disney will shoot them back to back as one giant film and release them as two films. However, there is no word on the crew including who will direct and write it, but it is very likely that Johnny Depp will return since his character is the key role in the franchise.

The two 45-seconds promos released by Ryan Seacrest compiled the footage of audition rounds where it is emphasized that "Everyone deserves a chance" and "Every voice deserves to be heard".

Hearing a few worthy voices, Lopez and Tyler sometimes bob their heads along. Both of the promos only show the good auditions with different types of voice. Oprah Appears in New OWN Promo

Absent from Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) promo the first time, Oprah Winfrey personally introduces her giant project in the second one. The promo uses a new song by Winfrey's favorite Black Eyed Pea, will.i.am, which is aptly titled "Own It" and would appear as the official theme song for the new network.

True to Oprah's vision of what the network will be about, will.i.am croons in the song about dreamers, believers and tomorrow's leaders. Oprah says in the video, "What if I could take every hero who inspired me; every lesson that motivated me; every opportunity that was ever given to me; and give it to you?"

OWN is kicking off January 1, in time for the end of holiday season. The buzz surrounding OWN has been generated through ads in cinemas, online ads and printed ones. "We organically have the biggest buzz driver in the world in Oprah," Darren Schillace, the channel's vice president of consumer marketing, said Thursday in an interview with NY Times.

The paper also said the ad will be adapted for television, both for the portfolio of channels owned by Discovery and for outside cable channels.

'Spider-Man' to Get New Villain and Parents

"Spider-Man" has gotten its second villain. After casting Rhys Ifans as an unnamed villainous character, Columbia Pictures reportedly will book Irrfan Khan ("Slumdog Millionaire") to portray another nemesis for Spider-Man named Van Atter. He will be joined by Annie Parisse ("Rubicon") as Van Atter's wife, The Hollywood Reporter says.

Moreover, Campbell Scott ("Damages") and Julianne Nicholson ("Law & Order: Criminal Intent") are going to join the production too, portraying Peter Parker's father and mother respectively. The characters, who were secret agents but died in a plane crash, are rarely seen in the comic book series and have never appeared in the original "Spider-Man" trilogy, so it has not been known whether they will appear in flashbacks, in a prologue or during the course of the movie.

While Scott has reportedly signed up for the untitled Spider-Man reboot, the other three are said in various stages of discussions to join the production, THR further reports.

These actors will join Andrew Garfield who is set to be Peter Parker aka Spider-Man and Emma Stone who is cast as Gwen Stacy. Martin Sheen and Sally Field will also be seen playing Uncle Ben and Aunt May respectively.

Marc Web will tackle the helming duty for the upcoming superhero film, which is to kick off production in December for July 3, 2012 release date in the U.S. Columbia will make it in 3-D.

A Touching Trailer for Brad Pitt's 'Tree of Life' Is Out

The first trailer for highly-anticipated "The Tree of Life" which is attached to "Black Swan" has hit the web in bootleg version. It is dominated with scenes featuring a boy named Jack, following him from the day he was born until his childhood. A glimpse of adult Jack who is portrayed by Sean Penn is also inserted.

Jack is raised by parents who teach him two different things. "There are two ways through life, the way of nature and the way of grace. You'll have to choose which one you'll follow," Jessica Chastain's Mrs. O'Brien says to her son. Meanwhile, Jack's father who is portrayed by Brad Pitt urges him to "always be strong, always be your own man," and teaches him how to fight.

Now, Jack finds himself a lost soul in the modern world, seeking answers to the origins and meaning of life while questioning the existence of faith. "Father, Mother, always you wrestle inside me," little Jack says to himself.

Coming from Terrence Malick who got Oscar nominations for directing and writing 1998 "The Thin Red Line", "The Tree of Life" is the impressionistic story of a Midwestern family in the 1950's chronicling the journey of the eldest son, Jack, through the innocence of childhood to his disillusioned adult years - trying to reconcile the complicated relationship with his father. The drama will arrive in U.S. theaters on May 27, 2011.

DreamWorks Plans More Sequels for 'Madagascar', 'Kung Fu Panda' and 'Dragon'

DreamWorks has planned long journeys for their beloved animations. Jeffrey Katzenberg, in an interview with Empire Online, confirms that there are multiple sequels mapped for "Madagascar", "Kung Fu Panda" and "How to Train Your Dragon".

The DreamWorks Animation chief says fans could look forward to another "Madagascar" film after upcoming "Madagascar 3", "Yeah, there's probably a fourth there." He states, "So today I can tell you pretty succinctly where 'Madagascar' goes. Ultimately they will come back to New York, and they will come to terms with that, which they will do in this next chapter. Because of the way that movie concludes there's probably one more for them..."

Believing that their movies and franchises are "not open-ended", Katzenberg also says that "Kung Fu Panda" will get other four films after "Kung Fu Panda 2" while "How to Train Your Dragon" will get at least two sequels after the successful 2010 film. " 'Kung Fu Panda' actually has 6 chapters to it, and we've mapped that out over the years. 'How to Train Your Dragon' is at least three: maybe more, but we know there are a least three chapters to that story. There are actually 8 books," he shares.

Asked how "How to Train Your Dragon" books, which are very different from the films, could be used as the source to make the big screen installments, he tells Empire, "There are elements of them that actually... as you know, there are many islands in the world of Berk, and different things there, so we'll see. But right now, today, we know that there are three for sure that we want to tell and there may be more. We haven't thought, you know, how do we continue beyond that."

DreamWorks has prepared "Kung Fu Panda 2" to be released on May 27, 2011 Stateside. The studio additionally sets "Madagascar 3" for May 18, 2012 release and lines up "How to Train Your Dragon Sequel" for the second half of 2013.

Simon Cowell Deemed 21st Century Jesus

Simon Cowell's bold comments on various reality singing contests make some people hate him, but that trademark lands him an honorable title at the same time. Evangelical magazine Re has dubbed the 51-year-old British a modern-day Jesus for his straight-talking and drive is believed to be just like The Messiah's.

The journal for the Assemblies of God church even uses a picture of the messianic music mogul on the cover. "Jesus, the one we think of as being meek and mild, gentle and loving and full of compassion, had the ability to talk tough. For some his words were hard to swallow - just like Cowell's - but he spoke truth and doesn't that hurt sometimes?" an article inside the magazine reads.

"Simon Cowell takes, learns from them and grows in the process, and there are numerous stories in the Bible of people who do the same," it further adds. The magazine goes on praising the man behind "The X Factor" and "Britain's Got Talent" by comparing him to other biblical figures like the father of all nations Abraham and the prophet Elijah.

Vanessa Williams: Eva Longoria Will Be Fine Because She's Survivor

Actress Vanessa Williams has assured fans her "Desperate Housewives" co-star Eva Longoria is recovering well following the news of her marriage breakdown, branding the Latina "a survivor". Longoria sent shockwaves through Hollywood last month when she filed for divorce from basketball star Tony Parker, citing irreconcilable differences.

Reports suggest the TV beauty moved to end her three-year marriage to Parker after discovering he had been unfaithful. But Williams insists her pal is working through her pain and is confident she will bounce back from the personal crisis in no time.

Speaking on U.S. chat show "The Talk", Williams says, "We just spent the whole day shooting on Tuesday, and you know, she's really doing well. She thanks you for all your prayers. She's a survivor and she's a beautiful, talented, wonderful woman and she will find someone else when she's ready. She's gonna be fine, we love her."

And Williams admits she was intrigued by the public's reaction to the news of Longoria's divorce, because it proves the lives of the rich and famous aren't always so perfect. She adds, "It's fascinating to see how people say she's got it all: she's gorgeous, she's an entrepreneur, she has her own restaurant, she can cook, she's a mogul, and then there's a component to her life that is normal and flawed and unhappy, you know, so the grass isn't always greener."

In the same chat, Vanessa Williams was beaming after cheering her daughter onto victory in a swimming competition hours earlier. The "Desperate Housewives" star spent her morning sitting in the bleachers at Sasha's Los Angeles school to watch the 10 year old compete in a swim meet. She had to dash off before the event was over in order to make it to the TV studios in time for her interview, but not before witnessing her girl claim gold in two of her early races.

Proudly clutching the first place ribbons in her hand on "The Talk", Williams explained, "Sasha, my youngest, is going to school out here (in Los Angeles) and she's on the swim team and she just won her two swim meet awards. It's happening now, so I... watched for the first two awards and had to leave, and she said, 'Mum, take these (honours).

Take That Receive $3 Million Bonus From Label Bosses

British band Take That will ring in the New Year with a massive pay day - they're reportedly set for a $3 million bonus and will celebrate with a special gig for record company bosses. Robbie Williams recently rejoined the group for an album and an upcoming 2011 tour, marking their first full shows with the original line-up since the "Angels" hitmaker left in 1995.

Now they're set to put on a massive concert in Barbados on New Year's Eve as part of a private party for bosses at record label Universal - and they will pocket a huge end-of-year bonus ahead of their reunion tour, according to Britain's Daily Mirror.

A source tells the publication, "The lads have had arguably the best year in their 20-year history, and bosses wanted to celebrate with a truly memorable party. It's all top secret. No one's been told the precise venue yet - just that it will be beach-side, somewhere on the west coast. The boys are really looking forward to it and will use the evening to showcase some ideas for next year's tour."

"They won't just be standing up and crooning a few ballads. It's going to be a huge production, no expense spared."

Bigg Boss 4: Manoj Tiwari’s Surprise Eviction

The reality show ‘Bigg Boss 4′ on Colors is witnessing a host of unpredictable events almost every day inside the house. The last episode was quite a topsy turvy ride for all the inmates as the Manoj Tiwari was the victim of the eviction process.
Since it was a Ashmit Patel vs Manoj Tiwari competition, there was quite a rumor that it would be Ashmit Patel who would leave since Manoj Tiwari is quite a popular star in the Bhojpuri film industry, whereas Ashmit Patel has not yet bagged such big projects to prove his stardom or have a fan following in the Hindi film industry.
However, the fact that Tiwari had to leave due to the public voting system was enough to prove that the public only judges a person by the person he projects himself to be on the show,  rather than rely on what he has been before going in into the house.
With Manoj Tiwari’s surprise eviction, everyone is taken aback! There are also murmurs that Ashmit has become a very popular guy after entering the Bigg Boss house as he has proved to be quite a darling amongst most inmates. Mike Tyson Trained Hard for Dance Moves in Bobby Brown's Spoof

Former boxing champion Mike Tyson spent weeks preparing to film a spoof video of Bobby Brown's "Every Little Step" promo - insisting he nearly "had a heart attack" as he practiced the tricky dance moves. The former sports star stunned fans by showing off his fancy footwork in a recreation of Brown's hit 1980 film, which was posted on Will Ferrel's Funny Or Die website.

Tyson was seen dressed in tight black Lycra and dancing with comedian Wayne Brady, while Brown also made a cameo appearance in the clip. But the retired boxer admits he struggling in training for his dance debut.

He tells newsman Larry King, "I'm insane. Come on, I don't know why it did this... Well, I wanted to do it.... but I had no idea that it would be so much work, those little dances moves, I almost had a heart attack. I realized I was doing my little treadmill and I knew I wasn't in shape. I had to start doing sprints, because I was just... ooh, my feet felt like they were on fire and someone took a blowtorch (to them)... (But) I had a wonderful time... I enjoyed myself."

The Script Singer Turned Down Cameron Diaz

The Script star Danny O'Donoghue once turned down the chance to go on a date with Cameron Diaz - because he already had a girlfriend. The singer reveals Diaz handed her personal phone number over to the group's management team after they both appeared on America's "The Today Show".

But O'Donoghue never called the actress as he's happy with his longtime partner. He tells Britain's Daily Star, "Cameron Diaz once asked me out, it was when we were both in New York on The Today Show."

"She gave her number to my management. I didn't call her though. I'm happy with my girlfriend. To be honest I wasn't even tempted. If me and my girlfriend broke up I'm sure I'd track her down. I wouldn't be intimidated. It's a pretty cool thing to happen though."

Lady GaGa's 'Digital Life Sacrifice' Campaign Struggling to Raise Money

Star-studded "Digital Life Sacrifice" campaign to raise money for Alicia Keys' Keep a Child Alive reportedly is struggling to meet its $1,000,000 goal. By Thursday, December 2 at 7:30 P.M. EST, it gained only around $180,950, according to The Wrap.

When this fund-raising effort, which includes Lady GaGa, was first announced, people behind the cause were confident that it would get a casket full of cash in short time since GaGa alone has more than 7.2 million followers on Twitter. On December 3, the singer reminded her Little Monsters that she needs help to be back on the digital world, tweeting "Lady GaGa is still dead. Text GAGA to 90999 and donate $10 to help children fighting HIV/AIDS."

According to the publication, the campaign has two fundamental problems. First, the amount of donation, $10 minimum, is too high. The second problem is by withdrawing from any online activities, they have lost an enormous amount of social media marketing.

Alicia Keys leads such celebrities as Kim Kardashian, Justin Timberlake,Usher, Ryan Seacrest and Jennifer Hudson to sacrifice their digital life starting December 1 on World AIDS Day. Fans are asked to buy their life back by visiting BuyLife.org or texting a celeb's name to 90999. All proceeds will benefit effort to fight HIV/AIDS in Africa and India and help the victims in those countries. And when $1,000,000 is reached, everyone will be back online and tweeting in no time.

Ashmit Patel beats Manoj Tiwari in Bigg Boss 4!

When Bollywood actor Ashmit Patel was pitted opposite Bhojpuri superstar Manoj Tiwari for nominations in Bigg Boss this week, Manoj had gloated in the reality show saying, Ashmit was no match for him.
An egoistic Manoj even went on to bad mouth and criticize Ashmit. He raked up the old MMS issue, insisting that nobody liked him. But now, facts and figures have proved otherwise. The viewers have voted for Ashmit.
In a surprising twist of events, the Bhojpuri superstar has had to face an embarrassing defeat at the hands of the upcoming actor. “Mr Tiwari underestimated the power of youth. The youngsters connect with Ashmit, Veena Malik and Sara Khan, not with Mr Tiwari’s back-biting,” said Ashmit’s publicist Dale Bhagwagar.
“While Ashmit was continuously gaining new fans for his friendship with Veena Malik, Aanchal Kumar and Pamela Anderson (earning himself the title of India’s First Casanova), his tussle with Dolly Bindra, his caring for Sara Khan, his bonding with Ali Merchant and Hrishant Goswami and for his honesty and straight-forward nature, Mr Tiwari had become vindictive towards him. So God punished Mr Tiwari,” remarked Bhagwagar.

“This is the 62nd year of Navketan Films. I have received lots of love from my fans for a long time and ‘Hum Dono’ was a craze when it released. Lot of people were requesting to release the colour version of the film for a long time,” said the star, who has recently also wielded the megaphone for his next “Chargesheet”.
“Hum Dono” was the last black and white offering from Navketan Films that has produced cult films like “Baazi”, “Guide”, “Prem Pujari”, “Tere Ghar Ke Saame” and “Hare Rama Hare Krishna” to name a few.

Rakta Charitra 2 Review

Movie: “Rakht Charitra2″; Star cast: Suriya, Vivek Oberoi, Priyamani, Radhika Apte; Directed: Ram Gopal Varma; Rating: *** ½ – better than part I.

In this sequel to Ram Gopal Varma’s month-old film about gangwars during the time of politics and elections we get to see for the first time in a Hindi film Suriya, an actor of searing intensity and devastating emotional velocity. Suriya takes the frontseat in the sequel to create an ambience of implosive violence. Yes, we’ve never seen an actor so controlled in his intensity for a long time. Suriya’s vendetta spree certainly lends an added sheen to the proceedings.
Whether expressing his love for his wife (Priya Mani, over-madeup) and baby or hatred for his opponent Paritala Ravi (Vivek Oberoi, not able to add to his performance from the first part), Suriya’s eyes convey a smouldering universe of indignation injustice grief and anger.
Cleverly Varma has given Suriya long stretches of silence in which the star-actor negotiates his angst-filled journey from betrayal to redemption. Suriya’s lengthy introduction sequence, the even lengthier attempt to kill him in the court house and the long fight sequence in jail are all ‘items’ constructed to spotlight the star’s agile histrionics.
“Rakhta Charitra2″ goes a little slower on the body count than the first part. It is still one of the bloodiest, most violent films in living memory.
This must be the quickest sequel ever. “Rakht Charitra2″ is better, more engaging and riveting in terms of content and drama. Full credit to Ram Gopal Varma for re-creating the savage world of politics and bloodshed in the Andhra hinterland. With skilled hands, Varma weaves the theme of an internecine war between two Men Who Would Be King In The Concrete Jungle.
The background score and editing highlight the ruthless profile of the hinterland. “Rakht Charitra 2″ goes beyond the first part in pursuit of the savage impulses that accentuate the hunger for power. Suriya has the most pained eyes since Om Puri in “Aakrosh”. Between the pleading and the bleeding that are projected into his character, Suriya proves himself the discovery of the year.
Watch “Rakht Charitra2″ for Suriya. And then watch it for the parable of violence that Ram Gopal Varma continues to construct in search of a meaning for the cinema beyond surface beauty.

I was sexually rabid and desperate for sex at 14, says Shelia Hancock

In a rare interview, actress Shelia Hancock has revealed how she was ’sexually rabid’ as a 14-year-old, and only a lack of contraception stopped her being promiscuous.
The 77-year-old said she had been ‘desperate for sex’ as an adolescent and as early as the age of 14, reports the Telegraph.
In an interview with the Radio Times, published on Friday, Hancock recalled how she met a local boy on a trip to France in 1947 and ‘fell in love’ with him.
She said the young Frenchman, who resembled the late American actor Danny Kaye, was the first boy she kissed.
But instead of ‘enjoying it’ she said she had become ‘anguished’ by the fear of becoming pregnant.
“Looking back at my teen diaries, it’s obvious that at 14 I was sexually rabid, desperate for sex,” Hancock said.
“But (I was) much too frightened because in those days there was no Pill and the great fear for girls of my background was that you’d get pregnant.
‘As it is, all we did was kiss,” she added.
The actress said the experience of falling for the Frenchman also taught her that ‘things are generally not black and white’.
The star of ‘Cabaret and Sister Act the West End’ musicals said that despite having had an early sexual awakening herself she worried that the current generation of young people were being ‘pressured into’ sex.
“Nowadays many children are at it younger than 14. And I worry they’re being pressured into it,” she said.
“There’s a lovely stage of innocence that is essential to one’s development and to be constantly battered with the fact that you’ve got to have it off with somebody or as many people as possible, and if you’re not you’re a wimp, is awfully sad,” she added.
“But on the other hand I think a false puritanism is equally phoney,” the star added.
Hancock said she now regretted that she had not been advised to enjoy childhood because she ‘lost that in the rush and tear and push and shove of teenage life’.
During her teenage years, ‘ambition blinded’ her and she was constantly pressured by her adored father to ‘be the best’ rather than achieving her best.
She said she had been ‘lucky enough to love two men profoundly’ – Alec Ross, her first husband who died in 1971, and John Thaw, her second husband, the star of ‘Inspector Morse’ who died of cancer in 2002.

Jay Bhanushali admires Salman’s style, Aamir’s professionalism

Television actor Jay Bhanushali admires Bollywood star Salman Khan for his style of anchoring and follows Aamir Khan’s when it comes to taking up new assignments.
‘I am a big fan of Salman bhai. He’s the one whom I look up to for inspiration. He’s great. What I really like about him is that when he’s hosting a show, he’s just like a common man. He does everything like a common man and this what connects him to the audiences,’ Jay told IANS.
Salman is currently hosting the fourth season of reality show ‘Bigg Boss’.
‘I also try incorporate that aspect in my anchoring. I like his casual attitude. Moreover, when I started my career, I wanted to be like Salman Khan,’ said Jay who will be seen as a host of ‘Dance India Dance Doubles’. He was here for the auditions of the Zee TV’s upcoming reality show.
The actor made his television debut with Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Kayamath’ and later participated in the reality show ‘Jhalak Dikhala Ja’. He has hosted two seasons of ‘Dance India Dance’.
Jay recently played a small part in Star One’s show ‘Geet….Hui Sab Se Parayi’ and hosted Imagine TV’s ‘Meethi Choori No.1′.
The 26-year-old actor admits he is very choosy about his work and tries to follow Aamir’s work ethics.
‘I like what Aamir Khan does. I wouldn’t take up any show for the sake of just appearing on TV. I am very choosy about my work. I don’t want my fans to get bored of me. I always see to it that if I am coming with something it should be different,’ he said.
‘Rather than being a part of a flop show, I would prefer to stay away from the small screen for some time. The tag of a flop show hurts a lot. I have reached where I am today after a lot of struggle and hard work. I have miles to go with the same struggle and passion towards work,’ he added.
It is often seen that the lead actors of any particular show fade out once their show ends. Actors like Smriti Z. Irani, Cezanne Khan and Sakshi Tanwar are some of the examples.
But Jay disagrees.
‘It depends. It is true that when you are constantly seen on television, you get over-exposed. But its up to you how to maintain your image and keep succeeding. Actors like Ronit Roy are still very active on small screen,’ he said.

Bollywood can boost our tourism, says Romanian minister

Bollywood is no more just a form of entertainment but also has immense business potential. Borbely Karoly, the Romanian secretary of state, feels the Hindi film industry can play a crucial role in encouraging tourism in Romania.

‘In our country we encourage Indian filmmakers to come and in turn help tourism. Since our actors and producers are very skilled, (Indian) filmmakers will also discover new possibilities,’ Karoly told IANS.

‘Bollywood will increase tourism. When we promote one business (Bollywood), it in turn attracts other businesses and this could be a good way to increase tourism.’

The minister, who was here for a meeting with the managing director of an import-export firm, feels Romania needs to be exposed to Bollywood to increase the volume of business which will be mutually beneficial.

‘We have more exposure to Hollywood, but we do have some local channels showing Bollywood movies. We need to increase the volume, which will happen when Indian filmmakers come here and make themselves more visible,’ he said.

He says the country offers many exotic locations and can provide a picturesque backdrop for the narratives.

‘We have the monasteries in Moldavia. We have Transylvania, the place where the Dracula was from, the Black Sea and several other places. People usually come to shoot for a short period, although they have the possibility to exploit more.’

Bollywood shoots are no cheap affair and even shooting a simple song sequence abroad can cost a fortune. Most of the money flows into the economy of the country where the movie is being shot.

Jackie Evancho's 'Silent Night' Music Video Unveiled

10-year-old "America's Got Talent" alum, Jackie Evancho, has just revealed a music video to support debut single "Silent Night" via Entertainment Weekly. It features Jackie playing snow around a Christmas tree with her older brother, Jacob.

It seems to mirror her own Christmas tradition at home. "We do whatever normal kid does," the little girl gushed of what she usually does with her family during the holiday. "We try to sneak a peek of Santa, we go to our Grandma's house, have Christmas dinner, and then go to bed and wait for Santa to come."

And "making the video was really fun," she shared before then adding, "There was a lot of snow - it got in our mouths! But it was still a lot of fun, especially because Jacob was there to enjoy it with me. Usually my siblings don't get to come along while I'm working."

"Silent Night" is taken from Jackie Evancho's holiday album "O Holy Night" which has been in stores for two weeks. The Christmas effort is currently sitting at No. 5 on Billboard Hot 200 after previously landing at the runner-spot of the chart. She becomes the youngest female solo artist to debut in the Top 10 list.
