Ranbir Kapoor pleads guilty in smoking case

Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor Thursday pleaded guilty, through his lawyers, to charges of smoking publicly during a movie shoot in Rajasthan’s Udaipur district about four months ago and sought exemption from personal appearance in the case, a lawyer said.
Kapoor, who was represented by three lawyers, had been accused of publicly smoking at Ghangaur Ghat in Udaipur March 28.
“Harish Vaishanav had approached the court saying that the actor violated the law by smoking publicly. The court issued a summon to the actor May 31. The summon was delivered to his house in Mumbai by police recently,” said advocate K.K. Purohit, who represented the actor in the court Thursday.
“We filed an application pleading guilty to the charges under the Rajasthan Prevention of Smoking Act and seeking exemption for Kapoor’s personal appearance before the court,” said Purohit.
Purohit pleaded that the offence was mistakenly done by the actor and he (Kapoor) has assured the court that this kind of thing would not be repeated again.
The court has fixed Aug 27 for the next hearing in the case, he added.
The additional chief judicial magistrate had summoned Kapoor to appear before his court July 26 on a complaint that he publicly smoked during the shooting of his movie “Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani” in the town, some 300 km from Jaipur.
According to a Rajasthan law, an offender could face maximum imprisonment of six months or a maximum fine of Rs.200 for smoking in public.

Bristol Palin: I Like Gays. I Am Not a Homophobic

Bristol Palin is tired of people saying she's a gay hater. Before she competes on the upcoming "All-Stars" edition of "Dancing with the Stars", the daughter of former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin clarifies widely-believed reports that she loathed homosexuals.

"I like gays. I'm not a homophobic and I'm so sick of people saying that," the single mother explains at ABC's Television Critics Association panel. "Just because I'm for traditional marriage doesn't mean I'm scared or anything of anyone else. And I don't hate anybody."

"People are gonna make up stuff about me no matter what. And whatever. I'm gonna go dance and I'm gonna have fun," she continues. "It's not about politics. It's not about traditional marriage or anything like that. It's about dancing. That's all I have to say about it."

Explaining her decision to do reality TV shows, she says, "I just think that you guys will talk about us (my family) either way and I might as well be doing something enjoyable and fun and with a good group of people, and that's why I'm doing it."

Bristol will return to the "DWTS" ballroom along with Joey Fatone, Melissa Rycroft, Pamela Anderson, Kirstie Alley, Drew Lachey and Shawn Johnson among other previous contestants. "I was ecstatic," the 2010 "DWTS" third-place finisher gushes on her blog.

"I called my mom right after our conversation and told her the offer I had gotten," she remembers. "I was totally brought to tears just thinking about the last few years of my life, and how abundantly blessed I am to have such amazing opportunities."

Olympic Games 2012 Opening Ceremony: James Bond, Lord Voldemort and Mr. Bean

The 2012 London Olympic Games was officially kicked off in an extravagant ceremony dubbed "The Isles of Wonder" on July 27. A number of spectacular scenes highlighting the country's most-famous fictional figures were shown during the star-studded event orchestrated by Oscar-winning filmmaker Danny Boyle.

Daniel Craig appeared in a short movie as the famed James Bond. He escorted Queen Elizabeth II in a Union Jack chopper from Buckingham Palace to the Hyde Park where the ceremony took place. In a royal arrival unlike any others, a stunt-person dressing as the Queen jumped off the helicopter in a parachute.

In another scene, a huge Lord Voldemort-like figure was looming over the crowd with a wand in his hand ready to cast a spell. Another surreal set was when a bunch of women in black dresses, full skirts and carpetbags descended from the sky using an umbrella each, giving an illusion of raining Mary Poppins.

Mr. Bean made his appearance, playing a keyboard in a "Chariots of Fire" scene. Wearing the signature Bean silly facial expressions, Rowan Atkinson showed a much faster way to get to the finish line but failed to anticipate his clumsiness. Aside from those popular fictional characters, there was real-life football hero David Beckham making a grand entrance with a speed boat.

For music fans, Arctic Monkeys catered the crowd with a live rendition of The Beatles' classic "Come Together" which was written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney. At the end of the ceremony, the Fab Four Mecca showed up on stage to deliver another hit single from his former band, "Hey Jude".

Video: Paul McCartney Closes Olympics Opening Ceremony

The opening ceremony of the Olympics was held in London on July 27, Friday. One of the many famous performers who took the stage at the event was Paul McCartney. The former Fab Four sang two songs.

The 70-year-old rock star performed "The End", a song he penned with bandmate John Lennon in 1969. "And in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make," Mecca sang to the crowd.

He then started playing "Hey Jude" on the piano and led the entire stadium in a massive sing-along. He guided "the fellas" and "the women, the girls" to sing separate parts of the chorus. The melodic communal moment ended the show.

Other performers at the "Isle of Wonder" included Arctic Monkeys. They played their own song, "I Bet That You Look Good on the Dancefloor", as well as a cover of The Beatles' classic "Come Together".

Two Door Cinema Club's frontman Alex Trimble made a surprise appearance singing "Caliban's Dream" written specifically for the event, as young athletes carried the Olympic Flame around the stadium. "I'm really proud of the performance. I have so much respect for the team that put it all together," he said of the program.

Filmmaker Danny Boyle served as the artistic director of the opening ceremony. "The Ceremony is an attempt to capture a picture of ourselves as a nation, where we have come from and where we want to be," he said of the historic event.

Daniel Craig also appeared during the ceremony as James Bond along with Queen Elizabeth II. Other guests were David Beckham and Rowan Atkinson.

A soundtrack for the event titled "Isles of Wonder: Music for the Opening Ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic Games" is made available for download after midnight on Saturday, July 28.

He says that he was on the same flight with Justin after the Teen Choice Awards. He narrates, "He taps me on the shoulder... 'Yo, I want to show you this song I produced and wrote. I'm really excited about it because it's one of the first songs I produced by myself'," when describing the encounter with the young pop sensation.

He says that they listened to the track on Justin's laptop while crouching down in a plane aisle. "The song was dope," he describes. He then adds, "He was like, 'Yeah, I wrote it for Selena. It's great.' And it was really awesome. It was, like, really, really dope."

will.i.am says that as a producer himself, it makes him proud to see someone so interested in producing and songwriting just as he is. "I think that guy is gonna be around for a really, really long time," he says of the pop superstar.

The Black Eyed Peas rapper also says that he has been working with the "Baby" hitmaker and says that the Canadian singer will appear on his solo album "#willpower."

Marisa Miller Expecting Baby Boy, Showing Off Baby Bump

It's official, Marisa Miller and her husband Griffin Guess are having a baby boy. The former Victoria's Secret model shows off her baby bump when blogging for PEOPLE. The mom-to-be embraces her changing body and bares her growing belly in a white top and skirt with sunlight illuminating her figure.

"My first trimester I was so exhausted. I could sleep 10 hours, then wake up, look in the mirror and still have eyes like a hound dog!" she said. "I felt like the life was sucked out of me, no matter how much sleep I got. It was obvious that my body was really busy doing something else and 'beauty sleep' didn't exist anymore!"

"The first trimester is a little nerve-racking because you hear a lot about what can go wrong at the beginning," she said. "I felt like I was holding my breath until I had my first ultrasound appointment and could see the baby and the heartbeat. I wanted to know that the baby was okay and that this was all really happening!"

"I was also really dizzy and of course, nauseous. Then my skin started to break out like a teenager - really badly! The funny thing was, even as I was going through all this, I was still so happy. There was so much freedom in letting go of my appearance because the reason for all these symptoms was this miracle growing inside me. I really could care less about what I looked like."

"Griffin is my everything. We've been married for a little over six years now," she gushed about her hubby and talked about how excited they were to welcome the baby. "Griffin and I have spoken so much about having babies throughout our marriage. We already have enough names for three kids, haha! It's always been a time we really looked forward to."

Miller is due to give birth in December. "Griffin and I are going on a babymoon soon, and one of the upcoming tasks is trying on all my bathing suits to see if any of them work with my new body," she dished on her next plan.

Sonakshi Sinha hurts eye while filming song

Actress Sonakshi Sinha had a tough time on the sets of “Oh My God” as she hurt her eye while shooting for a song in the film.
The actress was required to shoot for the “Go go govinda” in a three-day schedule, but unfortunately it had to be stalled, thanks to the colours and water used during the song.
“Sonakshi was shooting for the song ‘Go go govinda’, which was meant to be a three-day schedule. The climax of the song required lots of colours and water. On the last day she severely hurt her eye due to the colours and the shoot had to be stalled for two days,” said a source.
Produced by Akshay Kumar, “Oh My God” features the actor along with Paresh Rawal and Mithun Chakraborty in prominent roles.
The actress, who is riding high on the success of “Rowdy Rathore”, will be seen in “Son Of Sardaar” and “Dabangg 2″ later this year.

People will come for erotica, not Sunny: Pooja Bhatt

“Jism 2″ director Pooja Bhatt feels while many people will be curious to watch Indo-Canadian star Sunny Leone on the big screen, many might overlook her for the erotica in the movie.
“There is a whole section of people who will go to theatre only to watch Sunny while there will be another who won’t be bothered with her being in the film. They will come to see the erotica,” Pooja told IANS.
The movie, releasing Aug 3, also features Arunoday Singh and Randeep Hooda in prominent roles.

Summit Refuses to Edit 'Step Up Revolution' Gas Mask Scene

In the wake of the Aurora shooting tragedy, some studios have taken actions to change scenes in their upcoming films which coincidentally bore resemblance to the headline-grabbing incident. Summit Entertainment, however, refused to alter the scene in "Step Up Revolution" which features a gang of dancers entering a room in gas masks.

The masks shown in the upcoming pic are similar to the one donned by James Holmes when he did the massacre during the midnight screening of "The Dark Knight Rises". The scene in "Step Up 4", meanwhile, shows some dancers infiltrating a party while wearing the gas masks and carrying smoke cannisters.

Though refusing to re-edit the said scene, Summit has decided to yank the film's promotional materials which include the gas mask scene. Announcing its decision, the studio says in a statement, "There is a brief scene in the film in which a troop of dancers enter a room wearing gas masks as props an the dancers immediately go into a choreographed routine."

"Because of last week's tragic events in Colorado, Summit immediately removed television advertising that briefly showcased that scene from the film. The scene also briefly appeared in a trailer released three months ago that the studio is no longer actively servicing. Having taken these steps, Summit will open this inspirational, nonviolent film in theaters nationwide this weekend as originally edited."

The gas mask scene in "Step Up 4" caught the media's attention after the film was screened on Tuesday night, July 24. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Summit execs discussed the issue on Wednesday, despite the fact that the dance flick has already gone out to exhibitors.

Directed by Scott Speer, "Step Up Revolution" will make its way out onto theaters across the U.S. on Friday, July 27. Lining up in the cast ensemble are Kathryn McCormick, Ryan Guzman, Adam G. Sevani, Stephen Boss, Tommy Dewey, Cleopatra Coleman and Claudio Pinto.

Video: Justin Bieber and Kristen Stewart Read Mean Tweets From Haters

How would celebrities react to mean tweets directed at them? The question was answered when Justin Bieber and Kristen Stewart read the haters' messages on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" recently. Both showed different reactions.

"Dear god, give us 2pac back and we'll give you Justin Bieber," the Canadian star read before staring expressionlessly at the camera. Stewart adjusted her pants like a man did after reading, "I liked Kristen Stewart more when she was a boy."

Matt LeBlanc said with laugh, "Go f*** yourself," after reading a short message of "Matt LeBlanc looks so old #whathappened." Matisyahu, meanwhile, said "thanks" after reading, "Ever since @matisyahu shaved, he looks like old, fat Justin Bieber."

Other stars who appeared on "Celebrities Read Mean Tweets" edition included James Van Der Beek, Katy Perry, Zooey Deschanel, Larry King, David Spade and Snooki. Their reactions can be watched in the following video "for your amusement, and hopefully, reflection."

Possible Details of 'Thor 2' Filming Location Add Fuel to Elves Rumor

Plot details of "Thor: The Dark World" haven't been unveiled, but reports about where the filming will take place have already emerged. It was Bleeding Cool which claimed to have obtained the information that the "Thor" sequel would be filmed underground.

The site stated that the sequel was set to be filmed this summer in some long tunnels in London. Still, it is unclear whether the set will be transformed into some places on Earth, on Asgard or elsewhere. The reported underground location seemingly matches the film title "The Dark World".

The new report that "Thor 2" might be shot underground instantly added fuel to previous rumor suggesting that the film would have "elves" as the new villains. In Marvel comics, the Dark Elves of Svartalfheim were living in caverns and underground places.

Marvel Studios President of Production Kevin Feige once told Empire magazine that the sequel would introduce a new villain. "No, future, future. But there will be a major new villain. A major, major new antagonist...," so he teased.

Scheduled for a November 15, 2013 U.S. release, the second God of Thunder movie is directed by Alan Taylor. Returning to the cast ensemble are Chris HemsworthTom HiddlestonNatalie PortmanIdris Elba and Anthony Hopkins

Nick Lachey and Pregnant Vanessa Minnillo Pose for 'Family' Portrait

Nick Lachey and his pregnant wife Vanessa Minnillo can't wait to welcome their first child, a baby boy. The parents-to-be are all smiles as they pose together in their home. "My Happiness... My Family! Ahhh, My Boys!" she tweets.

The "Wipeout" host bares her growing belly in a tube top, while her husband dons a plain white tee. She cradles her baby bump, and the 98 Degrees boybander puts one of his hands around her waist and the other on her belly.

Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo were engaged in November 2010 after dating on and off for about four years. They tied the knot in a tropical island ceremony on July 15, 2011. It was the second marriage for Lachey, but first for Minnillo. Lachey was previously married to Jessica Simpson

Kristen Stewart Cheats on Robert Pattinson With 'Snow White' Director

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson's relationship might be on the rocks. The actress, who was linked to the British heartthrob after they filmed the first installment of "Twilight" movie series, is caught on camera getting cozy with Rupert Sanders.

In a picture obtained by Us Weekly, the "Snow White and the Huntsman" director is seen hugging and nuzzling K-Stew, 22, from behind. "It seemed like they couldn't get enough," a photographer who captured the photo says.

Quickly after the photo made its round on the web, a source close to the brunette beauty says she regrets the fling. "Kristen is absolutely devastated," the insider insists. "It was a mistake and a complete lapse in judgment."

The source continues, "She wasn't having an affair with Rupert. It was just a fleeting moment that shouldn't have happened. She never meant to hurt anyone. She's a good person who just made a bad choice."

K-Stew and R-Patz, 26, always played coy about their relationship, but have gradually gone public with their romance in the recent few months. Sanders, meanwhile, is married to British model Liberty Ross, 33, who played K-Stew's on-screen mother Queen Eleanor in "Snow White". The married couple has children together, Skyla and Tennyson.

According to a source from E! News, R-Patz found fame "very difficult and isolating." He's close to K-Stew because he thought she was "the only person who he can talk to about that, and he feels like they are both on the same level and they understand one another."

"He worships her," the source explained. "He doesn't think there is another woman on the planet who is as beautiful and kind as her. He wants to be with her 24/7, he wants to marry her...as far as he is concerned, Kristen is his perfect match...Kristen is perfect to him. That's why he's always known that someday she would be his wife."

Neither representatives for K-Stew, Sanders and R-Patz release a statement to respond to the rumor.

'Captain America 2' Director: Steve Rogers Will Have 'Room for Growth' in the Sequel

Ever since it was announced that "Community" helmers Anthony and Joe Russo have signed on the direct "Captain America: The Winter Soldier", fans have been questioning about the directors' vision on the sequel to "Captain America: The First Avenger". Responding to the question, half of the directing duo, Anthony, told IGN that they were going to give a "lighter" tone to the sequel.

Explaining Steve Rogers' development in the sequel, Anthony said, "We're trying to grow him as a character." He went on stating, "Certainly, he's come a long way from where he started in World War II to where he is in modern-day America. So the character has rrom for growth because of that huge journey he's been on, number one."

"Number two, the appeal of these movies is the ensemble," he continued. "Captain America isn't the only character in the film, and there are other characters that are perhaps lighter in nature." Asked whether there would be any appearance from the other Avengers members, the director quickly claimed, "That's something Marvel will shoot me for if I tell you."

Anthony and his brother Joe are relatively known for their comedy works rather than actioners. Weighing in on why Marvel unconventionally chose them over other action film directors, Anthony said, "It sort of came out of the blue, but [Marvel] were big fans of Community."

"You can sort of draw a line between some things we did on Community and a Marvel movie," he explained further. "I think if you look at some of the big genre episodes - you know, the paintball episodes, etc. - there's a cinematic sensibility being explored there that is in the language of those films."

Anthony also believed that his and Joe's experience on the small screen could help them tackle the directing duty in "Captain America 2" better. He said, "Marvel is a big company, and they've made a lot of movies. These narratives are connected to each other. That's not typical for a feature film, but television people are used to that."

"There are seasons and seasons of a show, and the history is very important it, obviously... My brother and I were comic book geeks from a young age, and big fantasy geeks. We got to talk to [Marvel] in detail about that. They knew that we understood the brand and their characters really well. We were just incredibly passionate about the movie, and they felt that it was the right match."

Bringing back Chris Evans as the Good Ol' Cap, "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" will be released in the U.S. on April 4, 2014. Plot details of the anticipated movie are still kept under very tight wraps.

I visit Ajmer dargah for peace of mind: Deepika Padukone

While the debate on whether Bollywood stars should be allowed at the Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti Dargah in Ajmer rages on, actress Deepika Padukone says her sole motive while visiting such places is peace of mind.
“I have only visited the place once. I had gone because I believe in worship and god. Whenever we go to such a place, it is not because we want to promote our film. We go there for peace,” the 26-year-old said here.
The shrine’s dewan, Syed Zainul Abedin Ali Khan, who is also the sajjada nashin (current head) of the Chishti order and claims to be a descendant of the saint, said in a statement Sunday that prayers by actors, directors, producers and musicians at this 12th century shrine for success of their films and TV serials are “intolerable”.
Meanwhile, when asked if she is in talks for starring in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s “Ram Leela”, Deepika said, “This is not true. The only film that I am working on currently is ‘Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani’, which is the most important for me right now because we have a lot of the film left.”
“There is ‘Race 2′, there is ‘Kochadaiyaan’ with Rajini sir (southern superstar Rajnikanth). There is no other announcement I have to make right now,” she added.

Kareena Kapoor shows different shades of Bollywood ‘Heroine’

BollywoodWorld.com, A picture is worth a thousand words and the first look of Madhur Bhandarkar’s “Heroine”, with Kareena Kapoor lying upside down, wearing a golden attire, surrounded by film magazines, and an empty glass of wine thrown away, does just that for the movie.
“Heroine” delves into the behind-the-scenes life of an actress in the Indian film industry and the first poster of the film itself is self-explanatory. It indicates where the glitz and glamour of the film world can take an individual.
She displays the range of a Bollywood actress in another poster, in which it seems she has gone back to her “Chameli” and “Chammak challo” avatar. She looks chic in a unique, red sari teamed with a daring, blue net blouse. The look is for an item song titled “Halkat jawaani”, and is also reminiscent of Vidya Balan’s look from “The Dirty Picture”.
The film’s plot itself is a reminder of Bhandarkar’s National Award-winning film “Fashion”, which uncovered the dark reality of the Indian fashion world and the fate of models who taste success and their gradual downfall.
Will “Heroine” be a mix of “Fashion” and “The Dirty Picture” is something viewers will have to wait until its release Sep 21.
Bhandarkar had launched “Heroine” at the Cannes International Film Festival last year with Aishwarya Rai as the lead. But later, the actress had to opt out of the project after she became pregnant.
Kareena stepped in to essay the role, and she is said to have delivered her best so far in the film.

Minka Kelly Caught in a Sex Tape Scandal

The "The Roommate" star Minka Kelly finds herself in the middle of a sex tape scandal. A 30-minute long video, which quite possibly was shot when Kelly was a minor, is being shopped around for the highest bidder, TMZ reported.

In a semi-professional manner, the tape was shot in New Mexico featuring the 32-year-old actress and a former boyfriend. The camera was secured by a tripod and hooked up to a TV monitor, meaning Kelly and the boyfriend can watch themselves in action. Kelly is said very aware of the camera.

Playing in the background are two songs from Brandy's second album "Never Say Never" which was released on June 8, 1998, sixteen days before Kelly's 18th birthday. Kelly is reportedly seen singing and dancing to the songs in the video, therefore it's not possible that the songs were added afterwards.

A representative of Kelly has been contacted but has not made any comment yet.

Selena Gomez Celebrates 20th Birthday With Boyfriend Justin Bieber

After presented a cake on stage of 2012 Teen Choice Awards, Selena Gomez celebrated her birthday with her boyfriend Justin Bieber. The young couple went on a dinner at Beverly Hills restaurant Il Cielo on Sunday night, July 22.

They were joined by family and friends. "Beyond blessed, so much love. Thank you for the most incredible birthday yet! I'm truly, truly grateful. I love my family, friends and all of you," tweeted the birthday girl who turned 20 on that day.

They booked a dinner for 12 and arrived in the eatery in Bieber's customized Mercedes minibus, according to E! News. They sat in the private back patio which floor was covered in rose petals to match Gomez's pink Dsquared2 minidress she wore to the TCAs earlier in the evening.

The group enjoyed cocktail and a flour-less chocolate birthday cake with fresh raspberries and whipped cream. Gomez had ginger ale and Bieber sipped Coca-Cola since they were still underage for drinking. "Selena was just a doll, so humble and sweet," said restaurant owner Pattie Vericella.

Gomez won Choice Music Group with her band The Scene at the TCAs, while Bieber grabbed Choice Male Artist, Choice Single by a Male Artist, Choice Summer Music Star: Male and Choice Fashion Icon: Male.

Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis Kissing at 'Jobs' Wrap Party

Although Mila Kunis vehemently denied she's dating Ashton Kutcher, their public display of affection at a recent wrap party of his new movie "Jobs" showed otherwise. The new couple were caught on camera cuddling and locking lips in front of other guests.

In some pictures obtained by X17 Online, Kunis and Kutcher were spotted sitting on a balcony. The former girlfriend of Macaulay Culkin and the estranged husband of Demi Moore were joined by a group of people who were supposedly the crew of the Steve Jobs biopic.

It's not the first time they were seen packing on PDA. The on-screen couple on the sitcom "That 70's Show" got cozy when having lunch together earlier this month and spent Independence Day with family and friends at a party in a home in Los Angeles.

Despite those evidences, Kunis told ELLE, "I am totally single." She added, "Listen, [Ashton and I] hang out. We've known each other for 15 years. We have mutual friends. We're comfortable with one another. That's it! There's no crazy love story, nothing more."

Anne Hathaway: My Heart Breaks for Victims of 'Dark Knight Rises' Colorado Shooting

Like Christian Bale and Christopher Nolan, Anne Hathaway is deeply saddened by "The Dark Knight Rises" massacre that killed 12 moviegoers and injured more than 50 others in a Colorado theater. The Selina Kyle/Catwoman depicter sends her prayers to the victims and their families.

"My heart aches and breaks for the lives taken and altered by this unfathomably senseless act," the actress says in a statement to E! News. "I am at a loss for words how to express my sorrow. My thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families."

James Holmes was the gunman who did the massacre at the midnight screening of the movie. Wearing a body armor and a gas mask, he fired into the crowd inside the Century 16 Theater at the Aurora Town Center Mall with an AR-15, a Remington 870 shotgun and a .40-caliber glock handgun.

Investigation by police revealed that the 24-year-old former medical student of University of Colorado acted alone in the shooting. Police found "a Batman poster on a wall, a Batman mask and other Batman paraphernalia" during a search of his apartment in Aurora to collect evidence.

It's also revealed that Holmes spent $15,000 on weapons and ammunition over the past few months before he did the massacre. Inside his apartment, 30 improvised hand grenades and several containers filled with gunpowder and gasoline were recovered by police.

Holmes was described by his friends as a shy person, and never committed offenses that would have raised alarms during background checks. He once worked as a counselor at a summer camp for underprivileged children near Glendale, California. In his profile at one of adult websites, he wrote, "Will you visit me in prison?"

Heath Ledger's Father Appalled by Colorado Shooting: We Can't Blame The Joker

Heath Ledger's father has responded to rumor that James Holmes, who killed 12 moviegoers and injured more than 50 others in a Colorado theater, called himself The Joker after he was arrested by Police. "We can't blame Heath or the character," Kim Ledger told Herald Sun.

"It's (The Joker) fictitious. I don't know what this does to the character," he continued sharing his thoughts about the character played by his late son. "I think that's the least of my worries. I'd be more worried about the families and other people involved in the tragedy rather than anything else.''

Talking about the tragedy, Kim said, "It's terrible - the whole circumstances. It's diabolical. I am appalled. The guy's obviously a nut case. He has obviously lost it. I think what America should be doing is restricting the availability of ammunition or revisiting their gun laws - that's what they should be doing.''

James reportedly dyed his hair red when he was arrested. Wearing a body armor and a gas mask, he fired into the crowd watching "The Dark Knight Rises" inside the Century 16 Theater at the Aurora Town Center Mall with an AR-15, a Remington 870 shotgun and a .40-caliber glock handgun.

Lady GaGa Previews New Song to Fans in Her Car

Fans who hounded Lady GaGa in New York over the weekend got a very special surprise from the Mother Monster herself. The surprise premiere of sorts happened when the singer was trying to get into her car. Once she boarded, she played an unreleased song on the speakers of the vehicle.

A video capturing the moment has surfaced on the Internet. The Little Monsters were so excited to see their queen and kept yelling and talking. One fan could even be clearly heard shouting, "GaGa! Listen to my CD!" Because of this, the lyrics of the song could barely be heard.

The thumping beat of the song somewhat hinted that the new track was a dance song. She recently opened up about her currently-untitled new album, "And I feel that, on the next album, there's a lack of maturity, it's a tremendous lack of maturity or sense of responsibility," when she compared it to her previous release, "Born This Way." She promised to reveal more details in September.

This is the second time that the pop singer has teased fans with sneak peeks of her new album. Several weeks ago, she performed a song that may or may not be in her next album. She said that the sad and somber track was called "Princess Die." She performed the ballad in a concert in Australia. She warned that the song was "a little bit sad" before launching into the suicide-themed track.

The new album is expected to drop next year.

Two 'Man of Steel' Teasers Released Under Different Narration

Warner Bros. has released not only one but two teasers for "Man of Steel" on Saturday, July 21. They both have the same footage but different narration, one voiceover provided by Clark Kent's father on Earth, Jonathan Kent, and the other by his Krypton father, Jor-El.

"You're not just anyone. One day you're gonna have to make a choice. You have to decide what kind of man you want to grow up to be. Whoever that man is, good character or bad, it's going to change the world," father Kent, who is played by Kevin Costner, says.

Jor-El, played by Russell Crowe, says in the other teaser, "You will give the people an ideal to strive towards. They will race behind you, they will stumble, they will fall. But in time, they will join you in the sun. In time you will help them accomplish wonders."

The footage centers on Clark both as a child and a man living as mere human being before breaking the sound speed as Man of Steel. This is considerably a much shorter version than the teaser shown during San Diego Comic-Con recently where there were such scenes as Costner as Jonathan, spaceship landing in the barn and a school bus flipping into the water.

"Man of Steel" will be released in U.S. theaters on June 14, 2013.
