KARACHI: Waqas Ali, the guy who was eliminated from Pakistan Idol’s Top 8 Round, has become the first one among all those contestants who released his debut music video.

With the true heartfelt song ‘Tera Chehra’, the singer has shown off his potential and proved that his elimination was not a fair verdict of audience.

Comprising of soothing love tunes, wonderful cinematography and the impressive vocals of Waqas Ali have made his debut song to be in wish list.

Robert Downey, Jr. continues to prove that playing Tony Stark pays almost as well as being Tony Stark. The Iron Man and Avengers: Age of Ultron star earned an estimated $75 million in the last year, putting him at the top of Forbes’s annual ranking of the highest paid actors for the second year in a row.
           Downey’s success is all the more remarkable considering that, over the June 2013 to June 2014 timeline which Forbes used to measure wealth, the actor only released one movie: John Favreau’s festival film Chef. So most of Downey’s money comes from the backend of the incredibly successful Iron Man 3—the highest grossing movie of 2013 with a $1.2 billion box office—and a reported pay hike for Avengers: Age of Ultron (because we know Iron Man’s got a big role in that).

Gisele Bundchen to Carry 2014 World Cup Trophy at Finals

Gisele Bundchen was selected to escort 2014 World Cup trophy to the field before the final match on July 13. FIFA and Louis Vuitton announced that Carles Puyol from Spain's 2010 Cup-winning team would accompany the wife of NFL player Tom Brady at Maracana Stadium in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. 

The trophy is made from 18-carat solid gold and malachite, while the case was designed by Louis Vuitton with brown monogrammed LV canvas pattern, brass locks and fittings. In 2010, FIFA commisioned the trophy case, which was made in the historic Asnieres workshop that produced various custom-made treasures in the period of its 150-year history.

A spokesperson for Maison Louis Vuitton revealed their reason to choose Gisele as the World Cup trophy's carrier, "She's the natural choice as she epitomizes the Brazilian woman and spreading her country's colors all over the world."

J.K. Rowling Publishes a New Harry Potter Story

Seven years after the last "Harry Potter" book was published, J.K. Rowling gave an update on the characters as an adult. The famed author published a new story on her site Pottermore on Tuesday, July 8, giving glimpses at Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger's lives as they are in their 30s. 

The new story, written in the form of Rita Skeeter's gossip column, sees the beloved characters watching Quidditch World Cup together. According to Rita, Harry now has a "nasty cut over his right cheekbone" as well as "threads of silver" in his hair. Ron's "famous ginger hair appears to be thinning slightly," she adds. 

Harry works as an Auror, an elite unit who catches dark Wizard, while Ron is managing joke shop his brothers created, Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes. Hermione who is married to Ron "is the deputy head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement." They have two children together, Hugo and Rose. 

Following the release of the story, Daniel Radcliffe said at an event on Tuesday that it is unlikely that he will reprise his role as the titular character. "My inclination is to say no," he shared. "I don't think it's a question - not even a hypothetical at this moment." 

The 24-year-old actor added that he had not read the new story, but he planned to do so. "As I understand it it's a very, very short piece, I'm not sure it is of itself worthy of adaptation to film. (Harry) is at least 12 years older in it than I am now. I don't think I'll have to worry about it for a long time," he explained.

Katie, who has split from Tom Cruise for two years, talked about her life of being a single parent. She said that "being a mother is the greatest gift. When I became a mother, my life completely changed." The 35year-old actress added, "I've seen 'Frozen (2013)' a lot. But the biggest change? I think you don't know-I didn't know how much love I had in me. It's overwhelming. Every day I discover more about this spectacular human being I get to be the mother of." 

When asked about her upcoming science-fiction movie, which is based on 1993's novel with the same name "The Giver", Katie replied, "I loved the Lois Lowry book [a young adult novel about a futuristic, seemingly utopian society in which everyone looks and acts the same]. There's this community that has decided to create a life that has no pain but also has no real joy. The director Phil Noyce created a society that's so 'ideal'-it's pretty sci-fi." 

When asked if she had read the novel when she was younger, the "Batman Begins actress replied, "No. [But now] I find it to be a really important read. My favorite books of my childhood were definitely [J.D.] Salinger's, like 'Franny and Zooey', 'The Catcher in the Rye', and then 'Of Human Bondage' by Somerset Maugham. Maya Angelou's work." 

She also said about her recent experience of working with Meryl Streep in the movie, "Being in a movie with Meryl Streep was a huge dream come true. When the cameras rolled, she was spot-on and such a pro. It was just a thrill to walk on set with her." 

Katie and Meryl star in "The Giver" along with Jeff Bridges, Brenton Thwaites, Alexander Skarsgard, Odeya Rush, and Taylor Swift. The movie will hit U.S. theaters on August 15.

Emma Watson has been named a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women. The former "Harry Potter" star, who will serve as an advocate for HeForShe campaign which promotes gender equality, said in a statement that she was humbled to be a part of the mission. 

"Being asked to serve as U.N. Women's Goodwill Ambassador is truly humbling," the statement read. "The chance to make a real difference is not an opportunity that everyone is given and is one I have no intention of taking lightly. Women's rights are something so inextricably linked with who I am, so deeply personal and rooted in my life, that I can't imagine an opportunity more exciting."

Apparently, Kim Kardashian is the one in charge of planning baby shower for sister Kourtney Kardashian, who's expecting her third child with boyfriend Scott Disick. "I'm going to get the ball rolling," Kim told E! Online on Monday, July 7, at a big baby shower held in NYC by Babies R Us, Kardashian Kids and Operation Shower. The event was thrown for military families to make sure the pregnant moms receive presents while their husbands are away. 

Kim, who according to Khloe didn't like anything huge and big, said that the shower would be "small and intimate." "It's not going to be a big, huge baby shower," she said. 

Kim didn't go into further details about the bash, considering that it's supposed to be "surprise" and her sister was standing beside her. "I hate when people ruin surprises!" Kourtney said. 

Meanwhile, Kourtney has just uploaded an image on Instagram, in which she was wearing a gold string bikini revealing her baby bump. The image was shared on Monday, July 7, showing the mother of two soaking up in the sun in the Hamptons during the weekend. In the image, she was relaxing with her 2-year-old daughter Penelope, who climbed on top of her cuddling the baby bump.

It's a drawing of the husky with a quote that reads, "with a little help from my fwends."

Katy Perry took a break from her "Prismatic" tour by having fun at a theme park. The "Roar" singer, who performed in Miami on Thursday, July 3, was photographed posing with Minnie and Mickey Mouse at the Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. on Friday. Kate Middleton and Prince William's wax figures at Madame Tussauds London get their first makeovers in two years. The installment of the wax figures of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in 2012 was intended to honor the royal couple's first wedding anniversary. 

Tourists who are going to visit the wax museum will see new glamourous evening outfits of Kate and William's wax figures. Kate's model wears Issa London's full-length turquoise silk jersey gown, LK Bennett's shoes and envelope clutch with her hair half pulled-up. Meanwhile, William's model wears a traditional Gieves and Hawkes tuxedo. 

The wax figures were previously created based on the photograph and footage taken from Kate and William's engagement announcement in 2010. The models are placed together with the models of Queen, Prince of Wales and Prince Harry in the royal zone at the wax museum.

The picture was taken very up close. It was taken from an angle so low, probably below the waist, with his own hand. The camera was directed to capture not only the muscles in his chest, but also his flat abdomen down to the lower level where jeans or pants usually hang on. Remembering his days with saggy pants, Bieber could have been wearing pants or bottoms down there, but anybody seeing the picture may think he was completely naked. 

Bieber also posted a picture of himself with two girls in his arms, his girl pal Catherine Paiz and model Chantel Jeffries. "Studio with these fools @chantel @catherine," was the caption he published with the pic. The two girls seem very comfortable cuddling with the Canadian pop star. Jeffries also shared the same pic on her Instagram.

Robert Downey Jr. Blames Genetic Component on Son's Drug Addiction

Robert Downey Jr. has released a statement over his son's arrest through his rep. Indio Falconer Downey was arrested on Sunday, June 29 afternoon in West Hollywood on suspicion of cocaine and drug-paraphernalia possession. 

"Unfortunately there's a genetic component to addiction and Indio has likely inherited it," Downey Jr. said on Monday. "Also, there is a lot of family support and understanding, and we're all determined to rally behind him and help him become the man he's capable of being. We're grateful to the Sheriff's department for their intervention, and believe Indio can be another recovery success story instead of a cautionary tale." 

Both Downey Jr. and his filmmaker dad Robert Downey were known to have used drugs together. Downey Jr. even spent time in jail in between 1990s and 2000s. A source told TMZ that Downey Jr. has been helping his son with addiction problem for years. "He's very much in tune with his son's sobriety," the source said. 

According to L.A. Now, sheriff's deputy spotted Indio smoking a pipe while a passenger in a car. The 20-year-old was later released on $10,250 bail just after midnight Monday morning.
