David Gilmour's Son Charged for Attacking Royal Car

The son of Pink Floyd legend David Gilmour has been charged in connection with an attack on a limousine carrying British royal Charles, Prince of Wales during a protest in London. Last month, Charlie Gilmour was accused of violent disorder after he was caught on camera clambering over the Cenotaph war memorial in the U.K. capital as students ran riot in December.

He attended a court hearing on Friday, February 11, when it emerged he has since been charged with a second offense of violent disorder, in connection with an incident later on the same day when a car carrying Charles, Prince of Wales and his wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, was attacked by a mob. Gilmour is accused of being among protesters in Regent Street, where the incident occurred.

A third charge of stealing a mannequin leg has now been dropped, prosecutors revealed during the brief hearing at City of Westminster Magistrates Court. The case has been adjourned until March 25.
