Lady GaGa thrilled revelers in her native New York City on Wednesday, January 5 night by putting on a surprise show at an intimate venue in Manhattan. The "Poker Face" hitmaker took to the microphone at the Plaza Hotel's Oak Room bar with her longtime pal, jazz musician Brian Newman, to sing for partygoers.
GaGa belted out two classic tracks, Nat King Cole's "Orange Colored Sky" and George Gershwin's anthem "Someone to Watch Over Me", and she further delighted the crowd by posing for pictures and signing autographs for fans after the show.
On another news, GaGa's song is one of the featured tracks in 2011 Grammy nominees album which comes out January 25 via Jive Records. Her duet with Beyonce Knowles "Telephone" was picked.
