Kim Kardashian's Wedding Brings More Than 20 Calls to Police

The lavish wedding party Kim Kardashianthrew to celebrate her nuptials to NBA star Kris Humphries last Saturday night, August 20 was not without trouble after all. Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office reportedly received more than 20 calls relating to the reception held at a private Montecito, California estate.

Officer Drew Sugars told the Associated Press that the wedding, which has seven sheriff's deputies being hired for supplemental security, drew in 22 calls into the station. Most of the calls made were complaints from neighbors about loud music and helicopters overhead. Despite the complaints, it was noted that no citations were issued and no arrests were made.

It was previously reported that at around 12 A.M., U.S. fire marshals interrupted the reception. A party guest told the New York Daily News that DJ Cassidy took the stage at 11 P.M., but was soon told by the cops to end his set by midnight. Another source informed Us Weekly that complaints from the neighbors made them "had to shut down the music early".

Words are, Kim's sister Khloe Kardashian tried to work things out, but without avail. "She was talking to security guards," the source said, "her friend's family knows the mayor of Montecito and they tried even to get in touch with him. Everyone in the neighborhood knew this wedding was happening. Just let them have their fun!"

Fortunately, the glitch didn't dampen the wedding guests' mood to party. The likes of Ryan Seacrest, Lindsay Lohan and Ciara allegedly continued on partying until nearly 2 A.M. on Sunday, August 21.

In another news, Kim and Kris were spotted with their arms around each other at LAX airport on Monday afternoon, August 22. Sporting casual outfits and sunglasses, the newlyweds walked through the airport to catch a flight to Europe for a quick honeymoon. Kim also made time to shoot down false report by tweeting, "There are rumors of a 2nd wedding in NY. This is NOT true!!"
