Kim Kardashian and Other Celebs Outraged by Casey Anthony Not Guilty Verdict

Celebrities have once again taken to Twitter to express their opinions. After Casey Anthony was found not guilty of murdering her 2-year-old daughter Caylee on Tuesday, July 5, the likes of Kim Kardashian, Mandy Moore, Rainn Wilson and many others used the social networking site to express their disappointment over the the jury's shocking verdict. 


Outraged Kim wrote on her page, "WHAT!!!!???!!!! CASEY ANTHONY FOUND NOT GUILTY!!!! I am speechless!!!" The reality star also posted a number of other tweets post-verdict, but quickly deleted them. One of the deleted posts read, "I am truly sick over the Casey Anthony verdict! So if the courts don't believe she is guilty then who do they think killed this little baby?" 


"Tangled" star Mandy was also quick to express her disbelief upon hearing the verdict. "Woah! Shocked about the verdict in the casey anthony trial! Thought she was guilty for sure! Either way, tragic story...," she tweeted before following it up with, "i'm from orlando and have been hooked on the trial the last few weeks. the defense team was abysmal! this is shocking! poor, poor caylee." 


Meanwhile, "The Office" actor Rainn got sarcastic in his comment. He tweeted, "Dear Florida, THANK YOU for freeing Casey! She's now available for partying and babysitting!" His co-star Mindy Kaling also tweeted, "Anyone else hoping Casey Anthony is stupid enough to sue herself for millions in a civil court? Maybe the jury didn't know infanticide was homicide? Help! Help!" 


Other celebrities voicing their opinions over the murder case included Benji Madden and Star Jones. While Benji wrote, "Casey Anthony looks Crazy man. like real Crazy. like street rat Krazy. Kray Kray. 100$ says she moves to LA in 30 days or less," Star tweeted, "I believe in the jury system and accept (the) verdict, but I can't take smiles from Casey Anthony right now. She may be not guilty but her baby is dead!" 


Comedian Kathy Griffin, model Niki Taylor and reality star Caroline Manzo also voiced their opinions. Kathy wrote, "Wow. Ok, now this case has my attn. Not guilty? Really? I just assumed...," Niki posted, "God will judge you Casey! This isn't over!", and Caroline tweeted, "Sick to my stomach over Anthony ruling. God let that poor little baby rest in peace." 


Casey Anthony has been on trial since May 24 this year in a case that began with the disappearance of her toddler daughter in 2008. After a trial of a month and a half, a jury of seven women and five men found the 25-year-old not guilty of first-degree murder, aggravated manslaughter and aggravated child abuse. She was, however, found guilty of four lesser charges for providing false information to a law enforcement officer.
