'DWTS' Recap: Hines Ward and Chelsea Kane Get Perfect Scores

"Dancing with the Stars" has now entered the semifinal round with four remaining contestants. On Monday, May 16, Hines Ward, Chelsea Kane (aka Chelsea Staub), Ralph Macchio and Kirstie Alley had to perform three dances: two fully-choreographed performances and a cha-cha presented with the group. In the cha-cha, the last couple standing would be the winner and get 15 extra points.

Ralph, who has had his knee injury healed, danced the Argentine tango with his partner Karina Smirnoff. "It lacked a bit of emotion," Len Goodman said. For Bruno Toli, "it was too flat," and Carrie Ann Inaba agreed with him. Ralph got 25.

Kirstie and pro dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy danced the Viennese waltz. Bruno gushed, "Kirstie set sail majestically!" Len said, "That was a beautiful dance," and Carrie added, "You bring us in to the whole performance." Kirstie received 27.

Chelsea and her partner Mark Ballas danced the Argentine tango. Carrie Ann praised the actress as a fantastic dancer but she did not feel this dance was up-to-par for Chelsea. Len declared it was a first classperformance, but her legs lacked authority through the dance. Bruno thought the dance was absolutely perfect and his fellow judges did not get it. Chelsea got 28.

Hines and pro dancer Kym Johnson, who has just been cleared by the doctor on the morning to perform after her neck injury, danced the Argentine tango. Basically, the judges loved the connection between them with Bruno commenting "Ah, it was like group sex - you never want it to end!" Hines got a perfect score, 30.

For the second round, Ralph and Karina danced the salsa. Len said it was "too wild" and "there was no real rhythm". Bruno was apparently not keen into it as well, saying "Are you wearing extra-wide diapers?" Some part of his comment, however, was bleeped out. In contrast to other judges, Carrie Ann admitted, "Oddly, I liked it." Ralph, however, only scored 23.

Next, Kirstie danced the paso doble. Bruno gushed, "That wasn't a paso doble, that was Dance Trek 12, the Wrath of Kirstie!" and Carrie Ann chimed in, "You're the Queen of the Paso Doble!" Len added, "You've had probably the two toughest [dances]... and you've come out and danced fabulous!" The score was 27.

Chelsea then danced the rumba which earned her first perfect score. Len commented, "Tonight, you have fulfilled your potential. You're there!" Bruno called it "romantic and erotic, but perfectly pitched." Carrie Ann said, "That was a nice rumba!"

Hines wrapped up the second round with his salsa. "You were steaming, and I was beaming," Len stated. Bruno simply said, "You're just beautiful man." Carrie Ann agreed, saying "I can't even explain how much joy I get when you dance." Hines' dance earned him another 30 that night.

In the Winner Takes All Cha-Cha round, two couples were put against each other. First, Hines and Kym faced off Ralph and Karina. The judges unanimously chose Hines and Kym to go ahead. Later, in the battle between Chelsea and Kirstie, the former was chosen to go ahead.

Hines and Kym then faced off Chelsea and Mark to do the cha-cha to "Just Dance" by Lady GaGa. Chelsea won the third round and got extra 15 points added to her total score that night.
