Emma Watson recently revealed that she used to have a "huge crush" on Tom Felton, and the actor playing Draco Malfoy in the "Harry Potter" series is offering his response to the confession. At a recent New York City junket for "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II", Tom admitted it was "very flattering."
When speaking to Access Hollywood, the 23-year-old actor revealed, "I heard it through the grapevine." Having said that they eventually became good friends, he added, "We can laugh about it now, but as testament to how long we've been doing this for, I'm pretty sure she was about 9, possibly 10... but yeah, [it was] very flattering."
Emma's confession of Tom being her first crush came in an interview for the August issue of Seventeen magazine. "For the first two movies, I had a huge crush on Tom Felton. He was my first crush," the actress famous for her portrayal of Hermione Granger said. "He totally knows. We talked about it - we still laugh about it. We are really good friends now, and that's cool."
While Emma had her eyes on him, Tom himself was crushing on Helena Bonham Carter. When Helena's name came out in a chat with E! News, the "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" actor said, "Coincidentally, that was my childhood crush." He went on to admit that he wrote the older actress a sweet note in a card "after the third or fourth film."
On Monday, July 11, both Tom and Emma attended the New York City premiere of "Deathly Hallows: Part II". Tom went formal in a black tux, while Emma looked stunning in a gold Bottega Veneta strapless dress that consists of a linen bustier and cascading satin amber flamed skirt.
