After launching "Q'Viva! The Chosen" with estranged husband Marc Anthony, Jennifer Lopez
is now developing a scripted show. It has been confirmed that the "I'm
Into You" songstress will serve as an executive producer for a new
hour-long drama series, eyed to be aired on ABC Family
According to Deadline which first reported the news, the yet-to-be untitled project centers on a lesbian couple, one is a cop and the other is a private school teacher. They have one biological son and adopted teen twins, one is a boy and the other is a girl. They later find "their already child-heavy household turned upside down when a wayward teenage girl moves in."
Peter Paige and Brad Bredeweg create the drama and serve as the writers. They will additionally join Lopez, Simon Fields and Greg Gugliotta as executive producers. ABC Family is reportedly fast tracking the project, but has not picked it up to series.
