'American Idol' Results: Elise Testone Sent Back Home

 Another contestant has reached the end of her "American Idol" journey. After two weeks of shocking elimination episodes, the FOX singing competition narrowed down the remaining Top 6 to five on Thursday, April 26 night by revealing that Elise Testone was the one who has to bid goodbye this week.

Being the oldest of season 11's finalists, the 28-year-old teacher from Charleston, South Carolina had survived several trips to the bottom three before, but received the fewest viewer votes out of the reported 58 million votes cast following Wednesday's performance episode. She was joined by Hollie Cavanagh and Skylar Laine.

Testone received mixed reviews from the judges for her performance of Queen's "I Want It All" and Jimi Hendrix's "Bold as Love". While Jennifer Lopez praised her rendition of "I Want It All", Randy Jackson told her that her second choice of song "wasn't the right song for this time in the competition." In the end, she exited the show singing Led Zeppelin's "Whole Lotta Love".

The Thursday show was kicked off with a performance of "Somebody to Love" by an official Queen tribute band dubbed The Queen Extravaganza. It also saw season 10 contestant Stefano Langone delivering his debut single "I'm on a Roll", and Katy Perry presenting a military-themed "Part of Me".

Chris Brown Denies Breeding Dogs for Profit

 Chris Brown was reported breeding and selling puppies for profit, prompting animal rights activists to voice their protests. But Brown's representative denied that it was a business, saying the singer sold the seven pitbull pups so that they can find good homes.

Brown's mother/manager Joyce Hawkins posted a link on her Twitter on Monday, April 23 of CB Breeds. On the website, Brown's photos holding newborn puppies were featured along with the offer to buy them for $1,000 a pup. "CHRIS BROWN PUPPIES FOR SALE," Hawkins tweeted.

PETA quickly criticized Brown's decision to breed dogs while there are a lot of them in pounds ready to be adopted. "There is no such thing as a responsible breeder while wonderful dogs are being put down in animal shelters across the country for lack of a good home. This is a moneymaking scheme, and Brown will count the suckers who fall for it as he counts the money on the way to the bank," PETA told E! News in a statement. "Shelters will count the bodies in the barrel. As Justin Bieber, Kellan Lutz and Rocsi Diaz say, 'Adopt, never buy'."

A publicist for Brown later released a statement to straighten things up, saying the puppies were part of a litter birthed by his family's dogs back home in Virginia. "He loves animals, especially dogs," said the rep.

Rep: Lindsay Lohan Will Be at White House Dinner Despite Missing Flight

 Despite missing her flight from Los Angeles to Washington, D.C. Friday, April 27 afternoon, Lindsay Lohan is still expected to come to the White House Correspondents' Dinner on Saturday. TMZ claimed that the 25-year-old starlet will catch a later flight, as her representative Steve Honig assured Mail Online, "She will be at the dinner."

When asked about the reason behind Lohan's no show at the LAX airport, Honig replied, "I don't know and who really cares?" The spokeman further stated that the actress, who has been set to portray Elizabeth Taylor in Lifetime's "Liz & Dick", will be attending with her lawyer Shawn Holley, and added that "she will not be giving a speech."

Also asked to share her thought on report that Lohan missed her flight was Greta van Susteren, who invited the starlet to the annual dinner organized by the White House Correspondents' Association. The Fox News host and former lawyer expressed no worry as she told Politico on Friday, "The dinner isn't until tomorrow."

Per Mail Online, Lohan failed to board the flight to D.C. after enjoying a night of partying at the Chateau Marmont after filming a guest starring role on "Glee". The "Herbie: Fully Loaded" actress allegedly came to the Hollywood hotspot with a friend after midnight and stayed until the earlier hours.

Meanwhile, it was noted that on board of the flight Lohan missed was George Clooney. The leading man of "The Descendants" has also got an invitation to the White House dinner along with the likes of Kim Kardashian, Sofia Vergara, Charlize Theron, Josh Hutcherson and Reese Witherspoon.

van Susteren herself has been met with criticism for inviting Lohan to the high profile event. Meghan McCain, the daughter of John McCain, tweeted on Thursday, "Let me get this straight Greta Van Sustern is bringing Lindsay Lohan to the WHC Dinner but has a moral offense to Louie C.K.?"

Meghan was referring to van Susteren's call for boycott after learning that the comedian would headline the event. van Susteren wrote on her blog at the time, "A media association has hired the pig, Louis C.K., to be their headliner for the big media dinner?  Ke$ha seems to be proud of her recent antic. The "Tik Tok" hitmaker revealed early Wednesday, April 25 morning that being stuck in a traffic jam has forced her to take a leak in the street. Instead of being embarrassed about it, she took to her Twitter account to offer her followers with a photographic evidence.

In the picture, the co-writer of Britney Spears' single "Till the World Ends" is captured squatting down outdoors with her pants pulled down. Along with it, she wrote, "pee pee on the street. PoPo come n get me if u can find meeee. I blame traffik." Per California law, she could have been charged with a $270 fine if police caught her in action.

It wasn't the first time Ke$ha didn't use the proper place to relieve herself. Back in 2010, she was forced to explain why she urinated in the sink of a London pub. "People made a big deal about me peeing in the sink but that wasn't that shocking. I wasn't even drunk. It's an animal instinct as a human and as an animal. I had to pee," she said. "And outside there's paparazzi everywhere - what am I supposed to do?"

Hulk Hogan Fires Off Cease and Desist Letter Over Sex Tape Pictures

 Hulk Hogan has yet to shake off the sex tape scandal hitting him in early March. Less than two months after the tape featuring him and an unidentified brunette woman was being shopped around, the WWE Hall of Famer is forced to take legal action to stop the spreading of the video's screengrabs on the Internet.

According to TMZ, the 58-year-old has through his lawyer sent a cease and desist letter to TheDirty.com editor Nik Richie to take down the photos. "As you know, should a sex tape or photographs of Mr. Bollea exist, they were taken without his consent and therefore the same would constitute a felony in the State of Florida," so the lawyer reportedly wrote.

TheDirty.com first brought out the black-and-white image of Hogan and the unidentified female to attention on Monday, April 23. At the time, the site suggested that the woman could be Bubba the Love Sponge's wife Heather Clem. The site has yet retracted the photos as demanded, and TMZ claimed that Richie has "no plans to remove the pictures".

Hogan himself has talked about his sex tape during the phone interview with TMZ back in March. He said that he can't remember the woman in the tape. "It wasn't just one brunette I was running pretty wild for a few months," he explained. "During that time, I don't even remember people's names, much less girls."

'Dancing with the Stars' All-Star Season Planned, Mario Lopez Asked to Join

 "Dancing with the Stars" may welcome back its former contestants to the ballroom next season. Mario Lopez, who finished second in the third season of the reality show, has spilled the beans that an all-star edition of the dancing competition is being planned and he has been offered to participate.

"They're doing a Dancing With the Stars: All-Stars this next season," he told Kelly Ripa when guest hosting "Live! With Kelly" on Wednesday, April 25. "They called me to do it." On whether or not he will sign up for it, the "Extra" host said, "I just don't know how I'd be able to pull it off."

Lopez broke the news of the all-star season when he and Ripa were talking about Gladys Knight's elimination. "I thought she was doing amazing," so the Mike Hamoui of "Nip/Tuck" commented on the soul singer, who got the boot on Tuesday night.

Kevin Feige Responds to Complaints That 'Avengers' Is 'Too Comedic'

 Marvel Studios President of Production Kevin Feige has responded to some early reviews which suggested that "The Avengers" is "too comedic" for a superhero movie. Admitting that he hasn't read about the criticisms, Feige explained that the Earth's Mightiest Heroes movie was indeed created to make people laugh.

"I think it's very important. We want to see the audience wrapped in laughter, cheers," Feige told Italian site Comicus, as translated by Comic Book Movie. "That's why we made the movie. I haven't read those complaints yet but we have always wanted this movie to have a particular sense of humor."

"We think it allows a broader audience to enjoy it," Feige, who also serves as a producer for the highly anticipated movie, added. "It's like it works in real life: you have to get to the audience's heart through humor, laughter."

During the chat, Feige also discussed how much the Ultimate Universe influenced the story in "The Avengers". He explained, "The Ultimates was an amazing reinvention of The Avengers."

"Mark Millar and Joe Quesada sat down more than ten years ago and said, 'If we had to reinvent The Avengers universe today what would we do? How would we change it?' so they were asking and answering the same questions we always do when we have to start to make a movie."

"And they changed Nick Fury from an old World War II man to Samuel L. Jackson basically. We really liked that version. I must say also some interactions between Black Widow and Hawkeye was directly inspired by The Ultimate, and maybe some other characters, but the spirit and the heart of it is in the very original portrayal," Feige said.

As for the villain, Feige opened up that Loki was the only one that crossed his mind when the movie was first pitched. "Loki was always the one we knew would do a big villain portrayal in The Avengers, particularly because it was the character in the very first Avengers comic-book in 1963, who caused trouble and made the Avengers sort of join up against him," he explained.

"So we loved that. Just we had written a few other characters in early drafts, not very famous Marvel characters but few others working on the side of Loki, but it just became too much," the producer continued. "There are a lot of people in this movie already. But we have started to think about who the villain could be in the next, future movie."

In the posting, the 38-year-old supermodel dished that the colorful image came from her latest photo shoot with Astor Cosmetics, and was done to celebrate the beauty brand's 60th anniversary of the brand.  Walt Disney Pictures has unveiled another clip for "The Avengers". This new snippet focuses on a scene where Agent Phil Coulson tells Steve Rogers that he's honored to have Captain America on board. During the conversation, the S.H.I.E.L.D. agent also explains to Steve that he has made some modifications to the Cap's old-schooled uniform.

Steve a.k.a Captain America is among the Earth's Mightiest Heroes recruited by S.H.I.E.L.D., which is led by Nick Fury, to pull the world back from the brink of disaster. Along with Iron Man, Thor, Black Widow, Hawkeye and The Hulk, the Cap must fight Loki, a genius supervillain no single hero could ever withstand.

The black-and-white image featuring the Material Girl in the nude with just a strategically placed bed sheet to cover her bottom half will go up for auction at Bonham's in New York City on May 8. Fox News reported that it is expected to bring in over $10,000.

In the nude picture taken by fashion photographer Steven Meisel, the "Girl Gone Wild" singer sports bleach-blonde hair and dark eye make-up. She stares seductively into the camera as she places a lit cigarette into her mouth. The image was actually intended for her controversial 1992 book, "Sex", which contains a series of sexually provocative and explicit images.

Of the picture, Judith Eurich from the sale room told Daily Mail, "This is an absolutely stunning image and it is just a beautiful tone of grey. It is not just black and white it is grey and silvery. Madonna was posing for a number of photographers at the time this was taken in the 1990s when she was in her early 30s."

Final 'Dark Knight Rises' Trailer to Be Attached to 'Avengers'

 The final trailer for DC's "The Dark Knight Rises" will be attached to another highly anticipated superhero film, Marvel's "The Avengers". A representative for Warner Bros. Pictures has confirmed that third trailer for the Christopher Nolan-directed Batman movie will be debuted ahead of the Earth's Mightiest Heroes film when it opens in the U.S. theaters on May 4.

The news was first broken by Nolan Fans, a website dedicated to director Christopher Nolan, which noticed the placement for the latest "Dark Knight Rises" trailer listed on Warners's exhibitor site. The fansite shared that the trailer will play on 2D and 3D screenings in both conventional and IMAX theaters.

Though DC and Marvel are known as long-time sworn enemies, this was not the first time a DC movie uses a Marvel film release to promote its film. Back in 2008, the final trailer for "The Dark Knight" was attached to the first "Iron Man" movie.

Bringing back Christian Bale as Batman, "The Dark Knight Rises" will open in theaters nationwide on July 20. Also supporting the movie are Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Marion Cotillard, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Morgan Freeman. Jessica Chastain Could Play Sexy Scientist in 'Iron Man 3'

 "Iron Man 3" keeps on courting more actors to round up its cast ensemble. After it was announced that Ben Kingsley and Guy Pearce are in talks to take the villainous roles, it is now reported that Jessica Chastain is also in the mix to star opposite Robert Downey Jr. in the third armored hero movie.

It was Deadline which broke the news that Chastain is in talks to play "a sexy scientist every bit as smart as Tony Stark." She was previously offered the same role, but the deal had never been closed due to the actress' tight schedule for other projects.

Before Chastain is back in the mix, it was said that Marvel began lining up meetings with some other actresses such as Diane Kruger, Gemma Arterton as well as Isla Fisher. Nonetheless, as Chastain's scheduling conflict could finally be solved, the studio is now courting the actress once again.

To be directed by Shane Black, "Iron Man 3" reportedly will be loosely based on Warren Ellis' six-issue "Extremis" comic book series, which presents a new origin story that focuses on nanotechnology. The movie is scheduled to begin filming in North Carolina this May, before continuing in China in late summer.

Returning to the cast ensemble are Downey Jr. as the titular superhero a.k.a Tony Stark, Gwyneth Paltrow as Pepper Potts, Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff, and Don Cheadle as Rhodey. Walt Disney Pictures will release the movie in the U.S. on May 3, 2013.

The estranged wife of Russell Brand donned purple high-waisted shorts and a matching sheer blouse for the summer festival, while her male companion sported casual look with a white T-shirt and jeans. Looking carefree, the twosome were all smiles as they hugged, kissed and swayed to music in the crowd.

Words are, Perry and Ackroyd were also together at Coachella last weekend. A source told Life & Style, "Backstage at the Artist Lounge at Coachella last weekend, Katy kept saying her boyfriend was the guitar player for Florence + the Machine. She and a bunch of friends were supposed to go see Dr. Dre together, but Katy said she was waiting to watch her boyfriend perform!"

On April 15, the twosome reportedly watched Rihanna perform during Calvin Harris' set together. A friend of Perry, however, told Us Weekly, "Katy's been trying to get [Russell] back! She's a lost soul right now. Right now, Katy and Russell are trying to get to the point where they can at least be friends."

Perry separated from husband of 14 months, Brand, after the "Rock of Ages" actor filed for divorce in December 2011. The pair reached a divorce settlement, and were granted a divorce by a Los Angeles judge in February this year.  A baby is likely to be on the way for Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green. Words that the former "Transformers" beauty and her actor husband are expecting their first child together have actually flown around since late March, but it wasn't until recently that a source confirmed the rumors to E! News.

The latest pregnancy claim came out after 25-year-old Fox recently revealed how many children she would like to have. In an interview for the April issue of Cosmopolitan, the actress who will make an appearance in "The Dictator" admitted, "I want at least two, probably three kids. I've always been maternal."

Should the report be true, the baby will be Green's second child. The former "Beverly Hills, 90210" actor already has a 10-year-old son, Kassius, with his ex-girlfriend, Vanessa Marcil.

Fox's pregnancy rumors were first brought up by Star magazine. Back in March, the tabloid reported that the "Friends with Kids" actress and her husband of nearly two years "just found out" that she's pregnant, adding that the twosome "are incredibly excited" though the pregnancy was unexpected. According to the observer, Kim and Kanye didn't move from their spot even though her family was around. In fact, the source said, "Everyone in the family was coming over one at a time to talk to Kim and Kanye." Among those seen speaking to the couple were Kim's brother Rob Kardashian and mother Kris Jenner.

Other family members spotted in attendance were Kourtney Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom, as well as Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner. Also present at the event were Kim's BFF Jonathan Cheban and Australian singer Cody Simpson, who reportedly came as Kylie's guest.

Johnny Depp Explains the Meaning of Tonto's Makeup in 'Lone Ranger'

 Johnny Depp has revealed the origin of his Indian makeup as Tonto in upcoming film "The Lone Ranger". While some people have been speculating that the black-and-white painted makeup was inspired by Marilyn Manson, Depp opened up that he was actually inspired by Kirby Sattler's painting.

"I'd actually seen a painting by an artist named Kirby Sattler, and looked at the face of this warrior and thought: 'That's it'," the 48-year-old actor told Entertainment Weekly. "The stripes down the face and across the eyes... it seemed to me like you could almost see the separate sections of the individual, if you know what I mean."

The "Finding Neverland" thesp elaborated that the lines on Tonto's face symbolize cross sections of a man's emotional life. "There's this very wise quarter, a very tortured and hurt section, an angry and rageful section, and a very understanding and unique side," said the father of two. "I saw these parts, almost like dissecting a brain, these silvers of the individual. That makeup inspired me."

Depp admitted that Sattler's original painting, which is called "I Am Crow", also inspired his character headdress, which has a crow on its top. "It's just so happened Sattler had painted a bird flying directly behind the warrior's head. It looked to me like it was sitting on top," said the actor. "I thought: Tonto's got a bird on his head. It's his spirit guide in a way. It's dead to others, but it's not dead to him. It's very much alive."

Of what led him to tackle the part of Tonto in "Lone Ranger", Depp said, "The whole reason I wanted to play Tonto is to try to [mess] around with the stereotype of the American Indian that has been laid out through history, or the history of cinema at the very least - especially Tonto as the sidekick, The Lone Ranger's assistant. As you'll see, it's most definitely not that."

Depp, who is no stranger to radical transformation for a movie role, has been receiving mix reactions from the American Indian communities over his role as Tonto. Leaders of the Navajo Nation expressed their support for Depp and "The Lone Ranger", but some other Native American communities criticized Depp's portrayal of Tonto which is said to having too few authenticity.

"Lone Ranger" will reunite Depp with Gore Verbinski, who helmed the "Pirates of the Caribbean" film series. Also joining the "Alice in Wonderland" star in the cast ensemble are Armie Hammer as the titular masked ranger, William Fichtner as Butch Cavendish, Ruth Wilson as Rebecca Reid, James Badge Dale as Dan Reid, and Tom Wilkinson as Latham Cole.

Walt Disney Pictures will release "Lone Ranger" in the U.S. on May 31, 2013.

Kim and Yeezy have been rumored dating for quite a while now.  Kristen Stewart might have been photographed attending the 2012 Coachella Music Festival without Robert Pattinson, but latest report suggested that she was actually joined by her "Twilight Saga" co-star. Guys, they were holding hands. I know my homeless looking Brits."

McDonnell continued on dishing, "He was wearing a grey tshirt and didn't seem to have much of a beard. She was wearing a black tank and dark red lipstick." In a following tweet, she wrote, "They were holding hands and when they stopped to regroup with their pals, she put her other hand on his chest. THAT'S ALL I KNOW, people!"

Earlier on Saturday, Stewart was spotted roaming the fields with a girl friend. The "Snow White and the Huntsman" actress was at the time sporting a red American Eagle's Midi shorts, a concert bra corset and a grey tank. Though hesitant in providing details, the "Give Your Heart a Break" singer opened up in a new interview with Fabulous magazine about how bullying and loneliness led her to seek solace in drugs. "It's something I don't really want to talk about," she at first admitted.

"What I can say is that I was depressed. I would come off stage in front of 18,000 people and suddenly be alone in a hotel room. I'd come crashing down and would try to find a way to recreate that feeling, to stay 'up'," the 19-year-old further spilled before revealing that it wasn't hard for her to get illegal substances. "Promoters gave me drugs and alcohol in restaurants or clubs."

"They wanted me to come back so I would be seen there. They were basically kissing my ass," she went on to note. "I thought they were my friends. I thought I was having fun. Being a celebrity can be dangerous. Nobody says 'no'. That's why so many end up overdosing and dying. It could definitely have happened to me."

In the chat, the former star of "Sonny with a Chance" also confessed that seeking treatment in rehab "wasn't my idea, but I didn't fight it." Recalling her three-month stint at the Timberline Knolls facility in Illinois, she said, "It was really, really hard and scary. I was homesick and lonely and several times I thought f*** it, I'm leaving. But my mum told me I would regret it. This was my only chance."

Now being a size 10-12, Lovato admitted that "it was terrifying being heavier" especially after being thin for so long. Warner Bros. to Preview 'The Hobbit' at 2012 CinemaCon

 Peter Jackson's "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" is set to be previewed at the 2012 CinemaCon. According to The Hollywood Reporter, up to 10 minutes of the highly anticipated epic movie will be shown in 3D at 48 frames per second during a Warner Bros. Pictures' presentation at the event on Tuesday, April 24.

During the annual event, which will kick off on Monday at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas, the sneak peek of "The Hobbit" will be screened using a Christie projector with the RealD 3D system. The movie itself will become the first major motion picture to be made at the HFR of 48 fps, though it will also be available in 24 fps.

THR also reported that some HFR-related announcements are expected to be shared at CinemaScore, as digital cinema equipment manufacturers are working to be able to support whatever the demand might be from exhibitors and studios.

"The Hobbit" will join some other movies which are scheduled to be previewed at the annual gathering event of theater owners. Several major studios will also unveil clips of their forthcoming release. Among those included on the lineup was Lionsgate Films and Summit Entertainment's star-studded comedy "What to Expect When You're Expecting".

Additionally, this year's CinemaCon is set to honor a number of actors, including Josh Hutcherson, Chloe Moretz, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Jennifer Garner, Taylor Kitsch, Charlize Theron, Anna Faris, Diego Boneta, Jeremy Renner and Judd Apatow.

As for "The Hobbit", the fantasy movie is scheduled to open wide in the U.S. on December 14. There have been some speculations that suggest the film's 48fps trailer will be unveiled as early as July.

The country music crooner hits No. 1 on Billboard Country Songs chart with its first single "A Woman Like You", marking the first time ever he tops a U.S. singles chart. He additionally strikes Gold as the song sells more than 500,000 digital downloads.

The song resonates with both men and women alike. "The girl in the song asks, 'What would you do if you never met me?' And the guy goes, 'You want to know the truth? He's walking a thin line there for a minute, but then he's able to hook it to say something every woman wants to hear," he explained.

Brice is set to release the CD in the United States on April 24.  Megan Fox, who's been known for her Hollywood beauty persona, will soon ditch her humor-free case to tackle a comedic role in "The Dictator". Speaking to The Sun, Fox talked how she feels playing a character which is a far cry from her usual "sexy action girl" image.

"When I first started acting I was always playing the b****y or mean girl, then I was playing these cool, robotic women," said Fox. "I was growing tired of playing those kinds of characters and reinforcing this stereotypes of me and having to play up to that when I was doing interviews."

By tackling a humorous role in "Dictator", the former "Transformers" actress confessed that she couldn't be more relieved. "Now I feel I can be myself again," she claimed. "It's given me the chance to get away from that sexy, icy image that I've been stuck with. I think the public can relate to me more easily in these kinds of movies."

Though she only tackles a minor part in the movie, the 25-year-old actress admitted that she had a wonderful time working with Sacha Baron Cohen. She gushed, "I had a wonderful time. Sacha is very smart and funny. We had a great time working together. I think the audiences are going to love the film."

Fox, who will play a stuck-up hooker in the upcoming comedy, elaborated furthermore, "I'm discovering that I enjoy the atmosphere of being part of those kinds of films." She said, "Doing comedies has been a great change of pace for me and I'm interested to see how audiences react to seeing me in these kinds of films."

Fox will appear as herself in "The Dictator", which sees Baron Cohen as narcissistic Admiral General Aladeen. The dictator of fictional state Republic of Wadiya risked his life to ensure that democracy would never come to the country he so lovingly oppressed.

Directed by Larry Charles, the upcoming comedy movie also stars Anna Faris, Ben Kingsley, John C. Reilly and Bobby Lee. Paramount Pictures will release the film in the U.S. on May 16.

Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif, whose look inspired a Barbie doll, has now donned the looks of Cinderella and Red Riding Hood for a new ad.

The 27-year-old has been signed as the ambassador of chocolate brand Choc On. In the ad campaign, she will be seen in three different looks — fairytale girl, Cinderella and Red Riding Hood.

Katrina, who has a svelte frame, says she loves gorging on chocolates.

“Everyone loves chocolate and I am no exception. I am happy to endorse a chocolate brand,” Katrina said in a press statement.

The commercial is based on the fusion of reality and fantasy, where Katrina witnesses a story of a fairytale-like character bringing Choc On chocolate and giving it to another angelic character.

“The idea is to engulf the viewer into the ultimate temptation for chocolate. With Katrina as the brand ambassador, the thought is to showcase the magic of Choc On to make dreams meet reality,” said Ricky Singh, who has produced the campaign under his banner Passion Films.

The multimedia campaign, featuring Katrina, is estimated to be worth Rs.20 crore.

In 2011, Katrina became the first Indian to be chosen to be the face of a Barbie doll.

Taylor Swift Could Play Canadian Musician Joni Mitchell in 'Girls Like Us'

Taylor Swift will likely land a prestigious big screen role in the near future. After taking part in the voice cast ensemble of "The Lorax", the country singer is currently circling the role of Joni Mitchell in an upcoming drama called "Girls Like Us". 


According to Variety, Swift has yet to receive a formal offer to play the veteran Canadian singer/songwriter. The movie itself will be based on Sheila Weller's book of the same title, which focuses on the music career of Mitchell as well as Carly Simon and Carole King. 


The 22-year-old singer has reportedly been linked to the true story movie project for several months. It was also said that some other actresses have auditioned to tackle the part of Simon and King. Among those who were circling the film was "Midnight in Paris" star Alison Pill who auditioned to play King. 


"Girls Like Us" will be directed by "House M.D." producer Katie Jacobs, while the screenplay will be provided by John Sayles. "Transformers" producer Lorenzo di Bonavetura will produce the drama, which still hasn't got the greenlight despite being tentatively scheduled to kick off production later this year. 


Swift recently joined Zac Efron in the voice cast for Dr. Seuss' "The Lorax". Back in 2010, she took part in an ensemble romantic comedy "Valentine's Day", while in 2009, she appeared as herself in Miley Cyrus' "Hannah Montana: The Movie".

'Glee' Nationals Event Gets Super-Sized Episode

"Glee" gets a super-sized episode for its next Nationals event. TVLine reports that FOX will combine the 20th and 21st installments of the drama musical series into one, which will air for two hours on Tuesday, May 15. 


In the first of the two hours, Tina suffers a mild head injury and begins to experience an alternate reality while the New Directions are planning for the annual competition. This plot explains recent set photos which see Mark Salling's Puck channeling Blaine, Cory Monteith's Finn dressing like Kurt, and Jenna Ushkowitz's Tina playing Rachel. 


The second hour will focus on the New Directions at the competition, which will feature Lindsay Lohan, Perez Hilton and Rex Lee as the judges. Words are, the "Bobby" actress will play a "heightened" version of herself and has some funny moments, including being disappointed she doesn't get a red chair that whips around like on "The Voice".

Bieber and Gomez were reported ring-shopping recently, checking out diamond rings in a couple of major jewelry stores. Braun told Us Weekly, that the claims are "complete bullshit" and Bieber's team was "laughing" at the speculation. 

Although not engaged, Bieber and Gomez's relationship seem to be stronger than ever. They shared a kiss when caught on Kiss Cam at Lakers game on Tuesday, April 17 night. A day later they headed to his Pencils of Promise Charity at St. Andrews School in Boca Raton. "When Justin wasn't interacting with the group, he and Selena were behind [the] stage and in the backyard area making out," an eyewitness told People.

Asked about Bieber's new duet with Taylor Swift, she spilled, "They did write a song together when they did the 'Punk'd' episode they actually later on went and wrote a song together and it's beautiful."


The "Spring Breakers" actress continued gushing, "It's amazing. I don't know if it will make the album, but if not I'm sure they'll release it at some point, because it's a really great record."
