"That was probably the most humiliating thing that's ever happened to me!" declared the 19-year-old songstress. She went on recalling, "I thought those were funny, and they were doing, like, these little elderly couples and it was so cute, and then all of a sudden we were both looking up and then we come on and it's like, oh, so awkward. It was so weird. I mean you have to kiss, right?"
Although she found the public kiss embarrassing, Gomez didn't mind expressing her support for her boyfriend. Asked about Bieber's new duet with Taylor Swift, she spilled, "They did write a song together when they did the 'Punk'd' episode they actually later on went and wrote a song together and it's beautiful."
The "Spring Breakers" actress continued gushing, "It's amazing. I don't know if it will make the album, but if not I'm sure they'll release it at some point, because it's a really great record." She added, "It's kind of like...it's Taylor and Justin combined. So it's a little bit of an upbeat song, but it's very acoustic."
In the meantime, Gomez and Bieber are dodging engagement rumors. Words spread recently that the teen couple have been spotted doing some ring-shopping. Per Chicago Sun-Times, they had checked out diamond rings in a couple of major jewelry stores. Bieber's manager Scooter Braun was quick to shoot down the report though. He told Us Weekly that the claims are "complete bulls**t".
