Katy Perry Releases Flashy First Trailer for Her 'Part of Me' 3D Film

Katy Perry has given her fans a special treat by releasing the first trailer of her concert documentary, "Katy Perry: Part of Me". Offering a look at the pop sensation's ups and downs on her way to superstardom, the promo video also teases her "100% Christian" upbringing and her divorce from Russell Brand.

In a recent interview with MTV, the "E.T." singer also said that the concert movie is a perfect way to end her adventure in promoting her "Teenage Dream" album. She explained, "It's closing the chapter on 'Teenage Dream', but it's giving you such an inside perspective."

"This film, you're going to see it from my best friend/buddy perspective, you're going to see exactly what I mean and feel and think about everything," Katy said of her film. As for the 3D sequence, the popstar gushed, "Listen, I've [worked on] most of this film for a very long time and the word 'cheap' was not in the vocabulary. But, hello, it's 3D. You're going to get hit with a lot of s***."

"Katy Perry: Part of Me" is designed as a concert-documentary movie hybrid, which aims to show the "Firework" hitmaker's life on and off the stage as well as gives a fan's perspective on the songstress. It is directed by Magical Elves, which consists of Dan Cutforth and Jane Lipsitz, who are the producers for Justin Bieber's successful concert documentary, "Justin Bieber: Never Say Never".

Katy herself announced the U.S. release date for this anticipated movie when hitting the orange carpet of the 2012 Kids' Choice Awards. "My concert documentary is coming out Fourth of July weekend. Go and see it and be a firework!" so she told E! News' Kelly Osbourne.

Andrew Garfield on His 'Amazing Spider-Man' Suit: It Is Designed to Make You Irritated

While some people would do anything to portray Spider-Man in his iconic blue and red costume, "The Amazing Spider-Man" star Andrew Garfield himself confessed that donning the skin-tight suit is not as nice as it may seem. The British actor even revealed that the Spidey attire is something that was very uncomfortable to wear.

"It's made of something that is designed to make you irritated," Garfield shared while appearing on the Tuesday, March 3 edition of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show". He added, "I don't know what the material name is, but that's the description underneath."

Furthermore, the actor who dates his on-screen girlfriend Emma Stone in real life admitted that he actually wore nothing but his birth suit under the superhero getup. "It's just me," he claimed. As Ellen DeGeneres asked if he felt naked, the actor replied, "Yeah. It's the worst."

"One of the first nights we were out in location in downtown L.A. in a parking structure and I knew there were paparazzi taking terrible, unflattering shots of my, you know, everything," he continued. "Knowing that your keister is being shot from many different angles makes you very uncomfortable."

During the chat, Garfield also dished on how he bulked his body up for his role as the web-slinger. He opened up that he worked out "like a literal crazy person" to prepare himself for the role of a lifetime.

"It was a life change," he added. "I get frustrated with those Men's Health magazines. It's like, 'In five minutes you'll be as fit as fiddle if you just follow those three simple steps and only eat cucumbers.' This was hard work. I wouldn't be able to do it without someone."

Garfiled will portray Peter Parker a.k.a Spider-Man in the upcoming Marc Webb-directed superhero movie which is slated for a July 3 release in the U.S. In addition to Stone, he will be joined by Rhys Ifans, Sally Field, Martin Sheen and Denis Leary.

Justin Bieber Releases New 'Boyfriend' Teaser, to Address 'Rumors' in Next Album

Justin Bieber has given his Beliebers another sneak peek to his upcoming music video for "Boyfriend". Prior to releasing the video teaser, he informs his Twitter followers that he's going to address "rumors" in his next studio album "Believe".

In the snippet of "Boyfriend" video, Bieber teases the "ice" and "fire" elements. One scene features the "Mistletoe" singer floating in the water with his eyes closed, and the other sees the Canadian heartthrob wearing a dark hoodie in front of a fire.

"The concept of this video, I mean it's not like a steady concept," he once explained when met by MTV on the video set in California. "It's not like 'Justin follows this girl to this spot.' No, it's a bunch of amazing scenes: Like a fire scene, we have an ice scene."

Of what he has to offer in the album where the single is set to appear, Bieber tweets, "Here (at the studio) making music addressing the past and the rumors, clearing it all up in the music. I'm putting it all out there on this album."

Instead of detailing which rumors he refers to, the boyfriend of Selena Gomez switches the topic to his upcoming tour when posting another tweet hours later. "meeting for the #BELIEVETOUR - gonna be epic. #MJInspiration," so he shares.

In the span of time between his first studio album "My World" and this upcoming sophomore set, there were a lot of rumors floating around the web about Bieber. When he dropped his holiday effort "Under the Mistletoe" last Christmas, he was hit with paternity rumor.

Aside from the baby drama with Mariah Yeater, the 18-year-old popstar also got wide coverage on the internet due to his romantic relationship with 19-year-old Gomez. The teen lovebirds have repeatedly been hit with split reports and engagement rumors.

Bieber is scheduled to release his new album later this year, and he's poised to precede it with a big debut on Hot 100 as "Boyfriend" reportedly has pulled in a whopping 520,000 downloads. If the finale figure is true, he will notch the second-best sales week of all time for a single, behind Flo Rida's "Right Round".

Madonna Wins Race to No. 1 on Hot 200 Against Lionel Richie

Madonna scores the biggest-selling album in the United States this week. Hence, she claims the first spot on Billboard Hot 200. By occupying the penthouse, the Queen of Pop blocks her strong rival of the week Lionel Richie, and she additionally knocks off last week's champ "The Hunger Games" soundtrack album.

Madge sells around 359,000 copies of her newly-released studio album "MDNA", scoring the biggest album debut of the year so far and posting her best sales week since she bowed at No. 1 with 420,000 copies of 2000's "Music". It also marks her eights No. 1 album, placing her behind Barbra Streisand who has nine chart-toppers. The "W.E." director last topped the weekly rundown with 2008's "Hard Candy".

Though she might fall short of tying Streisand's record, the "Girl Gone Wild" singer has been crowned the leader among solo artists with the most No. 1 albums in the U.K. She scored a total of 12 chart-toppers with her "MDNA", surpassing Elvis Presley. She's also close to tie with The Beatles who have 15 No. 1 albums in the country.

On Hot 200, Lionel settles at the runner-up place with his country crossover album "Tuskegee", which marks his best sales week (199,000 copies). He posted his previous biggest opening number with 2006's "Coming Home" (No. 6, 75,000 copies). As for his peak position on the chart, it happened in 1986 when "Dancing on the Ceiling" spent two weeks at the top.

Katy Perry to Get $6.5 Million Marital Home in Russell Brand Split

Katy Perry will get to keep the house she shared with estranged husband Russell Brand during their marriage as part of their divorce agreement. A quitclaim deed filed by Brand in Los Angeles has been obtained by E!, and it uncovered that the "Arthur" actor has surrendered all rights to their $6.5-million Hollywood Hills mansion.

The exes bought the 3-acre Mediterranean-style property in June 2011. It has seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms, and boasts a swimming pool, a pub, a huge home theater, a study and a guest house. Per the deed, the 36-year-old comedian gave his portion of the house's ownership to the 27-year-old singer for "no monetary consideration."

Perry and Brand got married in October 2010. After 14 months of marriage, Brand filed for divorce in December 2011. While the two reportedly did not sign a prenuptial agreement, the "Rock of Ages" star was said refusing to take money from the "Part of Me" singer.

In February 2012, the pair declared that they "have entered into a comprehensive written settlement of all issues, including, without limitation, with respect to the property to be confirmed or assigned to each party." Shortly thereafter, a Los Angeles judge finalized their divorce by signing off the judgment. The twosome will be legally single again in July.

Wilmer Valderrama and Minka Kelly Laugh Off Their Romantic Stroll Photo

Wilmer Valderrama and Minka Kelly are apparently having a good laugh about their romance rumors. After photos of them walking arm-in-arm in Sydney, Australia added more fuel to speculations that they are becoming more than friends, the two TV stars have a Twitter banter to shoot them down.

First to bring up the topic was 32-year-old Valderrama as he tweeted, "Yo @minkakelly were you romantically gazing into my eyes, while romantically having a stroll? Ha!" In her response, 31-year-old Kelly wrote back, "@WillyVille HA! Yea just before gazing into the other 12 peoples eyes we were with! Jeez! #theyregonnabepissedtheydidntmakethephotos."

Valderrama and Kelly were first linked romantically together in March. They were, at the time, spotted together in a private booth at the Greystone Manor in Los Angeles. An onlooker said that the pair were "all over each other" throughout the night. The witness additionally noted, "They were very flirty and dancing close. They even left with each other."

In a recent interview with Ryan Seacrest's KIIS FM radio show, Valderrama insisted that he and Kelly "have been friends for a long time." However, on Tuesday, April 3, the two were spotted taking a cozy walk along the water at Balmoral, Sydney. This time around, the "That '70s Show" alum was photographed having his arm draped around the "Charlie's Angels" actress.

Kate Winslet Takes a Jab at Leonardo DiCaprio's Weight Gain Since 'Titanic'

Kate Winslet might have struggled with her weight early in her career, but she's apparently content with how she looks nowadays. In fact, the Rose DeWitt Bukater of "Titanic" is comfortable enough with her body that she's joking she's aged better than her hunky co-star, Leonardo DiCaprio.

During an appearance on ITV's "Daybreak" to promote the 3-D release of "Titanic", the Oscar winner was asked how she and Leo have changed since landing their iconic roles in the James Cameron-directed 1997 movie. "We do look very different, we're older. Leo's 37, I'm 36 - we were 21 and 22 when we made that film," she responded before quipping, "You know, he's fatter now. I'm thinner."

Talking about her reaction watching the movie again 15 years after it first hit the cinemas, the ex-wife of director Sam Mendes said, "The second my face came on I was like, 'Oh my God, make it stop, switch it off, somebody make it stop, turn the sound down, is that what we looked like? Oh my God, look what I looked like and look what Leo looks like!' "

In a separate interview, Winslet is happier with the way she looks now. At the London premiere of "Titanic 3D", she admitted, "I prefer myself as a 36-year-old. It's really weird because when you're 21, you think, 'Oh God, when I'm 36, that's nearly 40, and I'll be really old and wrinkly by then.' Actually, I quite like the way I look. I feel OK about myself these days."

Disqualified Transgender Beauty Queen Given Chance to Compete at Miss Universe Canada

Jenna Talackova can compete for the title of Miss Universe Canada after all. Michael D. Cohen, executive vice president and special counsel to Donald Trump, said on Monday, April 2 evening that organizers of the Miss Universe pageant have reversed their earlier decision in disqualifying the transgender beauty queen.

"The Miss Universe Organization will allow Jenna Talackova to compete in the 2012 Miss Universe Canada pageant provided she meets the legal gender recognition requirements of Canada," Cohen announced in an e-mailed statement, "and the standards established by other international competitions."

Before Cohen came out with the statement, Talackova and her attorney, Gloria Allred, announced a news conference in Los Angeles for Tuesday, April 3. Its press release read, "Ms. Allred will discuss why Jenna should be permitted to compete and what action she plans to take in the United States on behalf of Ms. Talackova if the Miss Universe Pageant refuses to change its discriminatory rule."

Born a male, 23-year-old Talackova was selected among 65 finalists for 2012 Miss Universe Canada. She was disqualified from the competition after organizers found out she had undergone surgery to become a woman. Explaining the disqualification, the organization said in a statement, "She did not meet the requirements to compete despite having stated otherwise on her entry form."

Neither Talackova nor Allred has responded to the lifting of her ban to compete, but GLAAD spokesperson Herndon Graddick has applauded Miss Universe Organization for making the right decision and taking an important first step. He added, "Now, GLAAD urges the Organization to include all women and use this incident to speak out in support of the transgender community."

"So many women today do not have equal opportunities for employment, housing and safety simply because they are transgender," Graddick continued on. "The Miss Universe Organization should look to state non-discrimination laws and institutions including the Olympics, NCAA and The CW's 'America's Next Top Model', which do not discriminate against transgender women."

Artist of the Week: Melanie Fiona

Melanie Fiona shines brighter on Billboard Hot 200 by scoring her highest-charting album. She could only peak at No. 27 on the chart with her critically-acclaimed effort "The Bridge" three years ago, but this year she managed to start much higher with its follow-up "The MF Life". She landed at No. 7, becoming the fourth-highest chart entry of the week.

"The key thing I want to impress upon anyone who listens to 'The MF Life' is the idea that it's possible to learn from everything that comes at you," she said. "That's been my process. It's why on the surface, the 'MF' in the album title represents my initials, but it also gets at the many facets of myself as an artist and a young woman."

"It can be viewed as the 'Mighty Fine Life' in times of triumph and success, but also the 'Mother-F-ing Life' when I'm dealing with frustration or misfortune. I celebrate both. I feel it would be dishonest if everything was all about glitz and glamor. It's about the balance of life, the yin and the yang, the good and the bad, all of that."

In an interview with Los Angeles Times, Fiona revealed how she pushed herself in order to show her growth as an artist. "I allowed myself to open up to a new sound and introduce myself to the world with this new sound," she gushed. "[Songs like '4 AM' and other leaked tracks] really got people paying attention to the entire album, and not just the song."

Hot on heels of her top 10 debut on Hot 200, Fiona won R&B/Soul Recording at 2012 Juno Awards, thanks to the album's lead single "Gone and Never Coming Back". She beat the likes of JRDN, Jully Black, Karl Wolf and Robin Thicke.

During the annual prize-giving event, Perry also announced the official U.S. release date for her upcoming film. Speaking to E! News' Kelly Osbourne on the orange carpet, the songstress revealed, "My concert documentary is coming out Fourth of July weekend. Go and see it and be a firework!"

"Katy Perry: Part of Me" is designed as a concert-documentary movie hybrid, which aims to show the "E.T." singer's life on and off the stage as well as gives a fan's perspective on the songstress.

Chris Hemsworth Discusses How Thor Returns to Earth in 'Avengers'

Chris Hemsworth has opened up about how Thor returns to Earth to save mankind in "The Avengers". The actor, who will reprise his role as the God of Thunder in the superhero ensemble film, revealed that his hammer-wielding character is summoned from Asgard by his father Odin to stop Loki from creating madness on Earth.

"Thor has conveniently come back to Earth briefly because Odin summons dark powers from the universe and it's very costly," said Hemsworth as quoted by Comic Book Movie. "He's come back to retrieve Loki, who's running madness on Earth and causing a lot of chaos. He also has some questions of his own he wants answered like, 'How did this happen and where did I and my brother go wrong?' "

Hemsworth went on discussing what differs his character in "Thor" and that in "Avengers". He explained, "In 'Thor' my character learned a whole lot about humility and gained a new respect for humans because they were able to help him discover who he needed to become in order to earn his powers back."

"I also think he feels very protective of humans now because of his relationship with Jane," so the Australian actor added. "Joining The Avengers team is also tricky because he has a personal investment in that his brother Loki is the one who's causing the chaos and he fears that the others may just want to kill him instead of just stopping him and taking away his powers."

During the chat, Kevin Feige, Marvel Studios' president of production, also dished on Hemsworth's significance in the upcoming movie. He said, "The reason we cast Chris Hemsworth is we didn't want Thor to just be a one dimensional Adonis-like character."

"What makes a character a Marvel character is that you can relate to them and recognize your own flaws and struggles in the character's flaws and struggles," Feige explained. "In 'Thor' the character has to learn the lesson of humility and Chris was able to bring that in a very likeable way, despite the fact that he comes from another world."

Hemsworth will be joined by Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Tom Hiddleston, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson and Samuel L. Jackson who will reprise their roles as Captain America, Iron Man, Loki, Hawkeye, Black Widow and Nick Fury respectively. Mark Ruffalo also supports the movie by starring as Bruce Banner a.k.a The Hulk.

Organized by S.H.I.E.L.D., all the famous superheroes must team up to defeat an enemy no single hero could ever withstand. Before opening wide in the U.S. on May 4, the superhero movie is scheduled to close the 2012 Tribeca Film Festival in New York on April 28.

'Harry Potter' Stars Turn Up for Attraction Opening Near London

In support of the movie franchise that propelled their names worldwide, Rupert Grint, Bonnie Wright and Tom Felton attended the grand opening of the "Warner Brothers Studio Tour - The Making of Harry Potter". The stars turned up at the red carpet event outside the studios in Leavesden, near Watford, Hertfordshire.

"This is the most glamorous I have ever seen Watford," Grint said. "It's exciting for everyone to see. There are so many memories from in there and to share them with everyone is great. There are so many highlights but the model of the castle is out of this world." Grint also admitted that he took the number on Harry's door in Pivet Drive as memento.

The attraction boasts the famous places found in J.K. Rowling's books and the films such as Diagon Alley, Ollivander's wand shop, Ministry of Magic, Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes and of course, Hogwarts. Every little details were included in honor of the film's craftsmen and designers. There are 17,000 individually painted wand boxes, boxes of Cheert Owls cereal, Mrs. Weasley's self-knitting sweater and potions bottles.

"It's hard to sum it all up in a sentence but I will never forget walking through the Great Hall for the first time. It was just as magical now as it was all those years ago," Felton commented.

The admission fee is set at 28 pounds ($45) for adults and 21 pounds ($34) for children five and over. Children under 5 go free. WB expects 5,000 people a day to visit the attraction.

Teens Below 18 Banned From Lady GaGa's Concert

There's at least one country who won't let their teenagers watch Lady GaGa live. The South Korean authorities have determined that those under 18 years old are banned from attending the pop star's concert in Seoul on April 27.

The show's promoter notified GaGa's camp about the new rule on late Thursday, March 29. They previously set the age limit from 12 and now will offer refund for those underage teens who have bought her tickets. A local media said that less than 1% of the roughly 38,000 tickets were sold to teenagers.

The South Korean authorities did not offer the reason why they moved up the age restriction. They were consequently criticized for raising the age restriction in GaGa's concert but not K-pop's which is sometimes full of suggestive moves.

The concert taking place at Seoul's Olympic Stadium is the kick off date on her world tour. She will later visit several Asian countries such as Hong Kong, Japan and Indonesia.
