Lady GaGa gives an early look at the front page of Vogue's September issue that features her as a cover girl. Rocking big blonde wild hair, the Mother Monster is standing tall in a pink off-shoulder mermaid gown by Marc Jacobs. "Shhh don't tell," she writes. "Sorry Anna but the underground kids deserve it."
She previously tweeted on Tuesday, August 7, "Don't worry I've been txting Wintour all morning trying to get that cover queens. next im sending bagels to VOGUE (complex carbohydrate war)." It seemed that the bagel worked since she updated on Wednesday, "AHHH! The Vogue Express dropped off the SEPTEMBER ISSUE yesterday morning."
In the cover story, she talked about creating a fragrance unlike any others. "It must be black. It must be enticing. You must want to lick and touch and feel it, but the look of it must terrify you," she said. Commenting on her music, she stated, "I don't really make records for people to listen to and go, 'Wow, she's a genius'."
GaGa also uploaded one picture from the spread inside the magazine's latest edition. The singer wears nothing but a giant pink feathered hat by Steven Jones. In addition to revealing images from the publication, she shared a photo of her trying on a white gown. "It's my best friends wedding she made us try on dresses! BRIDESMAIDS VERA Baby," she said.
