When "The Walking Dead" returns for a second season this fall, fans will get a longer thrilling moment with the walkers. AMC has just announced that the premiere episode, which airs October 16 at 9 P.M., will be 90 minutes long.
The new season also consists of episode twice more than the first season's, but the network decided to split it in two. Six one-hour episodes will follow in the weeks after the premiere, while the second half of the season will only kick off in February 12, 2012.
At the same time, AMC also greenlit two new unscripted series. One of them titled "Secret Stash" is produced by Kevin Smith and set at the "Cop Out" helmer's New Jersey comic
The other new reality show is "JJK Security" which is described as "a Southern Gothic workplace dramedy - a wry and quirky take on the inner workings of our cast as they run their security business." The eight-part season 1 is scheduled to debut in the third quarter next year.
