Leonardo DiCaprio's sci-fi blockbuster "Inception" is the toast of Hollywood's special effects business after winning four awards at the industry's top prizegiving.

Nolan also received the organization's Visionary Award, telling the crowd as he picked up his prize, "I'm as dependant on vfx, maybe more so, as any other director out there."
Other winners at the ceremony included "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I", which was honored for the creation of animated character, for Dobby the elf, and "How to Train Your Dragon", which scored three wins.
In the TV categories, war drama series "The Pacific" scooped three awards and "Boardwalk Empire" landed two.
