Video: Robert Pattinson Steals a Kiss From Kristen Stewart After Premiere Party

Robert Pattinson has been caught red-handed sneaking a kiss from rumored girlfriend Kristen Stewart. The "Twilight Saga" heartthrob and his co-star have been dodging questions about them being an item off-screen, but the two were spotted acting very much like a couple in love on Sunday night, April 17.

On that night, Robert and Kristen were spotted together leaving Le Cirque, the venue used to hold the after-party for the New York premiere of "Water for Elephants". When the twosome already sat comfortably next to each other in the backseat of their car, the 24-year-old actor leaned toward the 21-year-old beauty for a quick peck on the lips.

Us Weekly reported that during the after-party itself, the pair were inseparable at their table and traded champagne for beer. An eyewitness gushed, "They were a cute couple!" Kristen, who looked lovely in a dress by J. Mendel, allegedly "got along together very well" with Robert's mom and dad. They left the party at around 1 A.M.

According to OK! Magazine, the twosome stayed in bed in their suite at the Mandarin Oriental as long as possible the next morning on April 18. One source claimed that the two ordered room service for breakfast, detailing "They ordered blueberry muffins and orange juice."

Miranda Kerr Flaunts Post-Baby Figure in Bikini Photo Shoot

A little more than three months after giving birth to her son, Miranda Kerr already looks fabulous in bikini. The 27-year-old model was back at work on Sunday, April 17 for a Victoria's Secret photo shoot in Malibu, California. She flaunted her flat tummy as she rocked a skimpy black two-piece for the shoot.

The Australian model has showed off an amazing post-baby figure back in late March. Attending the launch of Victoria's Secret's 2011 swim collection in Los Angeles, she came in wearing a figure-hugging Herve Leger by Max Azria zip front dress. She paired up the dress with a pair of black Yves Saint Laurent Tribute pumps.

Miranda gave birth to Flynn, her first son with actor husband Orlando Bloom on January 6. Sharing details of the baby's arrival, she wrote in her Kora Organics site, "I gave birth to him naturally; without any painmedication and it was a long, arduous and difficult labor, but Orlando was with me the whole time supporting and guiding me through it. I could not have done it without him."

Pics: Robert Pattinson Gets Scruffier Wax Figure in Germany

Robert Pattinson gets another wax treatment. On Monday, April 18, Madame Tussauds has unveiled a new wax figure of the "Twilight Saga" heartthrob in Berlin, Germany. This replica is slightly different from the ones that have been placed inNew York and London. It also shows off a scruffier look of the actor.

Similar to those in New York and London, Robert's wax figure sports his signature smirk. Still, unlike the previous two, this one trades his leather jacket with a suit jacket and loose tie. It also sports some new facial hair in addition to a shorter hair which is similar to the hairstyle he has in "Water for Elephants".

Robert has got his wax figure in New York and London being unveiled in March 2010. Back then, Tussauds spokeswoman Liz Edward said, "R-Patz is one of the hottest celebs on the planet. We are delighted to be able to give them [the fans] the chance to cozy up with their idol here at Madame Tussauds and, judging by the reactions of the first to meet him here this morning, he is set to top our most-kissed list of celebrities very quickly."

Kara DioGuardi Was Raped in a 'Friendly Dinner Date'

Kara DioGuardi has shocked fans by detailing her traumatic youth in a new book, alleging she was molested as a child and date-raped during the early years of her career. The former "American Idol" judge has written a candid new autobiography, named A Helluva High Note, in which she opens up about her troubled past.

In the tome, she claims she was molested as an 11 year old and recalls one incident which still haunts her, writing, "On one particular day, he took me into the back shed of his house and put his hands all over my breasts and vagina. I remember freezing and not knowing what to do."

DioGuardi also reveals she suffered another traumatic experience as an adult, alleging she was sexually assaulted around 11 years ago following what she thought was a friendly dinner date. She claims she told the unnamed man to stop, but was too scared to fight back in case he became violent.

She writes, "Within a few hours, he was on top of me, pumping, sweating, and speaking to me in Spanish, not a word of which I could understand." The book is out on April 26.

Daniel Radcliffe Praises Gaga for Gay Rights Stance

Daniel Radcliffe has long supported the Trevor Project, an organisation aimed at suicide prevention among gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered youths, while Gaga has been vocal as a gay rights advocate since she shot to fame.

The Harry Potter star admits he is impressed by Gaga's activism and is glad she has thrown her weight behind such a noble cause.

He tells MTV.com, "She's very outspoken... and it's just about being who you were born as. It's wonderful that other people are coming out from all different spectrums (in support of gay rights). I mean, she has a slightly more flamboyant way of putting her point across than I would, and it suits her a lot better than it would me. But we're both aiming for the same thing."

Posing Seductively in Lingerie, Evan Rachel Wood Comes Out as Bisexual

Another "True Blood" actress has stepped forward with a confession over her sexual preference. Following in the footsteps of the series' star Anna Paquin who shocked many with her own revelation last year, Evan Rachel Wood opens up in an interview for the May issue of Esquire magazine that she is also a bisexual.

"So I was always into very androgynous things. Guys, girls ... I'm into androgyny in general," explains the 23-year-old actress, who strips down to her lingerieand poses seductively for a spread inside the magazine. In fact, she points out that those qualities were the appeal of her ex-fiance Marilyn Manson.

Having stated that she dates women, the "Mildred Pierce" beauty says she likes to take charge in her relationship with the same sex. "I'm more kind of like the guy when it comes to girls. I'm the dominant one," she spills. "I'm opening the doors, I'm buying dinner. Yeah, I'm romantic." As for what she is looking for right now, she claims, "I'm up for anything. Meet a nice guy, meet a nice girl..."

Back in April last year, Evan's co-star Anna revealed in a public service announcement to promote gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender equality that she is a bisexual. In the video, the wife of actor Stephen Moyer said, "I'm bisexual, and I give a damn. One hate crime is committed approximately every hour of every day in this country."

John Travolta Advises Kirstie Alley on Dancing with the Stars

The actress is currently competing in the hit talent show and after several embarrassing slip-ups, including losing a shoe mid-routine, she decided to call in an expert to help.

She told dance partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy, "I took the liberty to call in a dance doctor" as her Look Who's Talking co-star arrived at her home to view rehearsals.
John Travolta - who showed off his slick moves in 1977 disco movie Saturday Night Fever - was filmed watching the pair practise and he doled out a number of tips, asking Kirstie Alley to switch her high heels for sneakers and urging the pair to ramp up the "romantic tension".
And the actor's advice appeared to work - Kirstie Alley scored 23 out of a possible 30 for her foxtrot on Monday night's show (18Apr11) and earned high praise from judge Carrie Ann Inaba, who called their routine "magical".

Weekend Box Office – RIO Breaks 2011’s Box Office Losing Streak with $40 Million Debut

Woo-hoo.  Folks, it looks like 2011 has indeed soared to its first big weekend win in months on the wings of Fox’s Rio.  The 3D animated toon rose from the ashes of a lower than expected Friday figure to earn an estimated $40 million for the three day frame.  Unfortunately, there was not a lot of love left over for Wes Craven’s Scream 4 but, no matter!  The weekend should still end up ahead of last year by approximately 12%.
TitleWeekendTotal
1Rio$40,000,000$40
2Scream$19,300,000$19.3
3Hop$11,160,000$82.6
4Soul Surfer$7,400,000$19.9
5Hanna$7,327,000$23.3
6Arthur$6,940,000$22.3
7Insidious$6,857,000$35.9
8Source Code$6,300,000$36.9
9The Conspirator$3,924,000$3.9
10Your Highness$3,895,000$15.9
Along with almost single-handedly assuring a weekend in the ‘win’ column for 2011, Rio also scored the highest weekend debut of the year at $40 million – and this time Monday’s official numbers should not necessitate a retraction as they did two weeks ago with that overly optimistic estimate forHopRio launched in 3,826 locations, with over 2,500 of those screening the G-rated toon in 3D.  Additionally, the film’s number one domestic debut was echoed internationally where Rio has already taken in over $100 million.
Produced by Blue Sky Studios, the folks behind Ice Age and Horton Hears a WhoRio was made for a relatively thrifty $90 million.  Naturally that doesn’t count marketing costs, (including a pricey Super Bowl Ad) but with a relatively glowing 71% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes and a first weekend in line with both How to Train Your Dragon ($43.7) and Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs ($41.6), this has to be seen as another win for the Connecticut-based studio.
2011’s first winning weekend might have been much more impressive had Scream 4 lived up to its early projections.  Although it has been 11 years since Ghostface last graced the screen, box office watchers had predicted a weekend in the mid-twenties for the fourth entry in Wes Craven’s iconic horror franchise.  Instead Scream 4 earned an estimated $19.3 million from 3,305 locations and actually declined from Friday to Saturday.  Still, with the notoriously thrifty Dimension spending a reported $40 million on the film, Scream 4 will end up profitable – even if it puts the knife to theScream brand for good.

If the reaction to Scream 4was underwhelming, that may have had something to do with the continued power of Insidious.  The low-budget scarer earned an estimated $6.8 million in its third week – a decline of just 26% – bringing its domestic total to $35.9 million from that astonishing $1 million budget.
As for last weekend’s newcomers, Soul Surferstayed strongest, holding on to its number four position with a decline of just 30% and a second weekend estimate of $7.4 million.  Focus Features’ Hanna also held well, notching a decline of 40% and an estimate of $7.3 million.  Arthur managed a decent hold of 57%, but after last weekend’s disappointing start that gives the Russell Brand comedy a domestic total of just $22.3 million after ten days.  As expected,Your Highness suffered the biggest decline of the newbies, falling 58% to number ten.  That means a new domestic total of just under $16 million, a total more fitting for a small indie hit than a star-studded, major studio release.
And speaking of small, indie pics, Robert Redford’s The Conspirator managed to debut at number nine this weekend.  The Roadside Attractions production earned a respectable $3.9 million from its initial run in 707 locations, or a per screen average of $5,550.
If all goes according to plan, next weekend should give Hollywood its second win in a row.  Not only will Tyler Perry be back (in his crowd-pleasing Madea persona) but the much-hyped adaptation of the novel Water for Elephants, starring Robert Pattinson and Reese Witherspoon, will hit 2,700 locations. Late April of 2010 was no blockbuster – with How to Train Your Dragonnumber one with just $15.3 million – so what could go wrong?

Synopsis for MAN OF STEEL Confirms Superman is Headed to West Africa?

Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures have spent recent weeks casting their Superman reboot,Man of Steel.  Henry Cavill as Superman/Clark Kent.  Amy Adams as Lois Lane.  Michael Shannonas General Zod.  Diane Lane and Kevin Costner as Martha and Jonathan Kent.  The inclusion of Zod and hiring big names for Clark’s adoptive parents give some indication of where the story — conceived by David S. Goyer and producer Christopher Nolan — takes place in the Superman lore.  And Lane claims Man of Steel “does cover the entire range of years, from infancy on.”
But these are just nuggets.  What will the film actually be about?  A new synopsis has emerged that may confirm Superman is headed to West Africa.  Read more after the jump.
Late last year, a character breakdown issued to casting issues included plot details:
The plot involves Clark getting involved in some sort of battle between two tribes in West Africa.  When he is compelled to use his secret powers to intervene in a crisis in West Africa, Clark returns to Smallville to learn more about his origins and the hero he was born to be.
My understanding is this logline was somewhat dismissed, perhaps a victim of time out of sight.  This weekend, however, Bleeding Cool found this synopsis listed in the Baseline Studio System:
A young reporter named Clark Kent roams the world covering various news stories. When he is compelled to use his secret powers to intervene in a crisis in West Africa, he returns to Smallville to learn more about his origins and the hero he was born to be.

These are clearly from the same source.  The more recent synopsis suggests Clark is a reporter at the Daily Planet from scene one and omits any mention of a tribal battle.  But otherwise: practically verbatim.
It is common to release false details to casting agencies to provide the actors a sense of tone for the auditions without leaking the real story.  I am not aware of any motivation to do the same with Baseline.  And Bleeding Cool vouches for the system’s reliability, citing the instance last year when they discovered the top secret Devil synopsis on Baseline.
If this is the true synopsis for Man of Steel, this brings us back to the Mark Waid-penned comicBirthright.  From the Wikipedia synopsis:

The story begins with a retelling of the destruction of planet Krypton. Jor-El laments the fact that his world accomplished “miracles no one will remember” while he is busy preparing infant Kal-El’s voyage. Kal-El’s shuttle pod fires into space moments before the planet’s destruction. Jor-El and his wife Lara regret that they will never know if Kal-El survives the journey.
Time winds forward to present day West Africa, where an ethnic conflict between the fictional Ghuri and Turaaba clans is claiming lives (this conflict is very reminiscent of the Hutu and Tutsi wars in Rwanda). Clark Kent, a freelance reporter in his early twenties, arrives to cover the conflict…
Clark returns to Smallville, determined to learn more about his alien heritage. He tells his mother Martha that he wants to unearth his spaceship. He and Martha use the data tablet that came with Clark from Krypton to examine holographic records of Kryptonian history.

Birthright hits all the same beats.  West Africa.  From infancy on.  A return to Smallville.  The one big discrepancy: Where does Zod fit in?
Can you do me favor, WB?  Can you release the official synopsis?  Like, really spell it out.
The Zack Snyder-directed Man of Steel is scheduled for release in December 2012.
