Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal Enjoy Sunday Stroll Together

Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal are now romantically linked after the two were reportedly caught holding hands and sharing starry-eyed gazes during a recent stroll. Life & Style magazine reported that the two, who have nine years age gap, spent their weekend, October 24, together in Brooklyn, New York.

Despite their effort to stay incognito, onlookers were reportedly still able to recognize Swift and Gyllenhaal who were both born in December. One bystander told the site, "Taylor and Jake were walking around Park Slope holding hands. They looked like a couple!"

Us Magazine further reported that a day before Swift and Gyllenhaal enjoyed the weekend stroll, the "Today Was a Fairytale" singer brought the "Prince of Persia: Sands of Time" actor to "Saturday Night Live" taping, which was hosted by Swift's BFF Emma Stone. Of the "SNL" time, a witness told the site, "They chatted a lot, but no kissing or hand holding or anything affectionate."

Both Swift and Gyllenhaal haven't responded on the romance rumor. The "Love Story" singer was previously romantically linked to John Mayer and Taylor Lautner after ending her relationship with Joe Jonas. Gyllenhaal, in the meantime, ended his relationship with Reese Witherspoon in November 2009.

Michael Jackson Is Top-Earning Deceased Celebrity

Michael Jackson has topped a list of the highest-earning deceased celebrities, making more money in the past year than Elvis Presley and John Lennon. "The Thriller" icon, who died in June last year, posthumously pulled in $275 million over the past 12 months with his back catalog and merchandising deals.

His concert film "This Is It", which documented preparations for his ill-fated London stage residency, also made $250 million at the box office. Jackson's earnings were greater than the total combined earnings of the 12 other dead stars on Forbes magazine's list, including Presley, "Lord of the Rings" author J.R.R. Tolkien, "Peanuts" animator Charles Schulz and Beatles legend Lennon, who rounded out the top five respectively.

Justin Bieber's acoustic album which was announced earlier this month has got an official release date. As a holiday treatment for his fans, he is going to drop the effort across United States on November 23, few days before American's Christmas shopping season Black Friday.

"On November 23rd the Unplugged Acoustic album comes out! Taking it back to how we started. Spread the word," Bieber posted on Twitter. Prior to revealing the release date, he hinted about listing a new song in it. He wrote, "Maybe we need to give everybody an UNPLUGGED acoustic album with that new song I cut in Hawaii for the holidays...thoughts???"

Beside preparing the unplugged set, Justin Bieber also works on his next studio installment. In an interview on the red carpet of 2010 MTV Video Music Awards, he noted, "[It'll] probably [come out] fourth quarter next year. Drake is gonna be on that album; I'm not sure [who else]. I'm gonna ask him if he can get [Lil] Wayne on there."

In the meantime, Bieber is still on a tour to promote his two albums "My World" and its follow-up "My World 2.0". The traveling show will be filmed in a 3-D movie "Never Say Never" which is scheduled to come out around Valentine's Day next year.

Kanye West Stuns Fans at Brooklyn Festival With Surprise Set

Rap superstar Kanye West sent concert-goers in Brooklyn, New York into a frenzy in the early hours of Sunday, October 24 when he played a surprise set of his new material as part of the Offline Festival. The event, staged by Pitchfork Media, was held at Brooklyn Bowl and Saturday's, October 23 show was headlined by DJ A-Trak to celebrate the three year anniversary of Fool's Gold Records.

But A-Trak had a big treat in store for fans, bringing out West for a four-song set at around 2.30 A.M. on Sunday. The hip-hop star drew screams from the crowd when he ran out on stage and launched into "Monster", his new star-studded collaboration with Jay-Z, Rick Ross and Nicki Minaj.

He also performed "Power", "Devil in a New Dress" and "Runaway", much to the audience's delight. And rap fans got more than their $10 ticket's worth at the show - A-Trak then introduced Wu-Tang Clan star GZA to the stage for another performance.

Robert Pattinson Explains Why He Turned Down Simon Cowell's Music Deal

"Twilight" star Robert Pattinson turned down a lucrative record deal with Simon Cowell because he was convinced no one would like his music. The actor, who plays guitar and piano, and composes his own songs, has rejected offers from several major music companies and admits former "American Idol" judge Cowell was desperate to recruit him for his own firm.

But Pattinson insists he wouldn't fit in with the reality TV star's talent roster - because Cowell only works with artists who are popular with the public. He says, "I love Simon, I think he is a great personality and I think his shows are entertaining. He is a clever guy and he created artists that he knows the public will like, that's why I don't think he could ever launch my music career."

"I am selfish with my music. I get my guitar and I play what I like, but the problem is I don't think many other people would like it." But Pattinson is confident his music will be appreciated someday, adding: "I am sure I'll be one of those artists that people don't pay any attention to while I'm alive, and when I am dead people will go yeah, man, that was a work of art."

'Paranormal Activity 2' Scares Others at Box Office, Breaks Another Record

Paramount is never wrong for investing in "Paranormal Activity 2". Made with not more than $3 million budget, the movie has raked in an estimated $41.5 million over its first weekend. This number subsequently makes the film the new record holder of the largest three-day opening for a horror film as it surpasses the $40.6 million tally made by 2009 "Friday the 13th".

This "Paranormal Activity" sequel has given good news to Paramount since its opening day, grossing $6.3 million from midnight shows on Friday, October 22. The number broke R-rated midnight record which was previously held by 2009 "Watchmen" with $4.6 million.

According to Paramount, 61 percent of the audience was less than 25 years old. On their effective promotional method, Paramount vice chairman Rob Moore says, "Instead of approaching (the marketing) as you would on a big tentpole or sequel, the campaign was done by giving the online fans ... clues and pieces of information about the movie before they saw it on any advertising materials," referring to the movie clips mysteriously sent to several blogs and media outlets.

Last week's champion "Jackass 3D" drops about 57.1% in ticket sales, sitting on number two with an additional $21.6 million cume. "Red" also drops one place from second to third, adding an approximately $15 million to its domestic revenue.

On number four there is "Hereafter (2010)" which makes a high jump from number 28 after it expanded from six theaters into 2,181 locations this weekend. This results in an additional $12 million tally. "The Social Network" rounds up the top five with an approximately $7.3 million gross.

George Lucas NOT Planning New 'Star Wars' Trilogy

There will be no new "Star Wars" films in the foreseeable future. In contrary to previous report that George Lucas is pitching a new trilogy of the hit sci-fi movie series, a spokesman for his production company Lucasfilm claims the story is not true.

"This is, of course, completely false," the spokesman, Josh Kushins, tells Wired.com via email. "George Lucas has plenty of projects to keep him busy right now - including plenty of Star Wars projects - but there are no new Star Wars feature films planned."

The denial is released after IESB reported on Friday, October 22 that an "ultra top-secret Lucasfilm insider" informed them the new trilogy would land after the planned 3-D conversion of the six "Star Wars" films. The site additionally claimed the new projects would not be prequels but instead sequels and they have nothing to do with the live action television series currently in development.

Reactions from fans were varied regarding the rumor. "I, personally, would love to see another trilogy, so long as it doesn't overlook everything that has happened post-[Return of the Jedi], like the Thrawn trilogy/Legacy of the Force/Fate of the Jedi," so wrote ObiWanJedi93 on TheForce.net's Star Wars community board. Meanwhile, Princess Namey on an Adult Swim message board thread was a bit skeptical, stating "Oh gawd why!? Why can't [Lucas] try and make 'original' movies again, and leave Star Wars alone?"

In the meantime, fans can expect to see their favorite films in 3-D theaters, starting with "Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace" in 2012. 20th Century Fox and Lucasfilm have not announced an exact release date, but it was said they eye a date around Valentine's Day

'Inferno' Director Refuses to Replace Lindsay Lohan

Director Matthew Wilder has renewed his vow to stand by Lindsay Lohan as she endures a further three months in drug rehab, insisting he has no plans to replace her as the lead in his Linda Lovelace biopic. The filmmaker hired the "Mean Girls" star to play the troubled porn legend in "Inferno" earlier this year, but production on the project was pushed back when Lohan was jailed for breaching her probation over the summer.

Shooting was scheduled to begin in November but filming on the movie has now been stalled after Lohan was ordered to spend the next three months continuing treatment at California's Betty Ford Clinic during a court hearing on Friday, October 22.

But Wilder has promised to support his leading star as she conquers her demons. He tells the New York Daily News, "We're not replacing her with another person. She's good and productive and thinking about life beyond (rehab). I think she feels a little cooped up there, but she's OK."

The news will be a major relief for Lohan - in court documents filed by her probation officer, she admits she "can not afford to continue to pay for the treatment program and she needs to work". The extra three months at the Betty Ford Clinic is expected to cost the actress an estimated $63,000

Photographer Fails to Serve Lindsay Lohan With Legal Papers

A fashion photographer who is suing Lindsay Lohan is struggling to serve the actress with legal papers. A process worker was turned away recently as he tried to present her with the lawsuit during her stay in rehab.

The "Mean Girls" actress is accused of failing to honor a deal to give snapper Scot Nathan a one per cent share in her clothing line 6126 in exchange for a photo shoot. He launched legal action against Lohan in April this year and a process server attempted to visit the troubled star at the Betty Ford Clinic in Rancho Mirage, California earlier this month - but he was denied access and instead gave the papers to the security guard.

However, the action will not count as court documents cannot be handed to security, reports TMZ.com. Lohan was sentenced to a further three months of treatment on Friday, October 22 for violating her probation after failing two court-ordered drug tests in September.

She will remain at the Betty Ford Clinic until at least January 3, 2011.

Cameron Diaz and Matthew Morrison Had 'One-on-One Time' During Night Outing

Not yet revealing about the true nature of her relationship with baseball player Alex Rodriguez, Cameron Diaz now sparks romance rumor with "Glee" star Matthew Morrison. An onlooker told E! Online that Diaz and Morrison recently had "some one-on-one time."

According to the site, Diaz and Morrison were spotted making a carpool after the two left Bardot in Hollywood on Saturday night, October 23. Refusing to make fans jump into any conclusion, the site mentioned that the two were accompanied by actress Joanna Garcia that night.

Still, the source said, "They definitely came together and sat together. Cameron would lean over and chat with Matthew, but it didn't seem too flirty," adding that both of them were enjoying the music. The source later revealed that Morrison was being a gentleman during the night as he didn't let any of the girls felt cast aside.

"Diaz and Garcia seemed tight and had a great time. Matthew and Cameron had some one-on-one time in the lounge, but nothing seemed too intimate," the source claimed. "Matthew seemed to be a huge gentleman and genuinely cared for both ladies the entire night."

Cameron Diaz has been recently linked to New York Yankees star Alex Rodriguez following their several outings together. Back in early July, the "Charlie's Angels" beauty hinted at A-Rod romance rumor. She told Harper's Bazaar, "I grew up with the (Los Angeles) Dodgers, but now I'm a Yankee's fan."

No Charges Against Russell Brand's Guards in India

Newly-married funnyman Russell Brand won't have to be questioned by cops after all - assault charges stemming from an alleged altercation between his security guards and photographers have been dropped.

Just days before the British comic married singer Katy Perry in an Indian ceremony on Saturday, October 23 paparazzi photographers clashed with minders during a safari trip. Snappers claimed a member of the actor's entourage approached their vehicle, punched the driver in the face and stole his car keys.

A statement from Ranthambhore police read, "The photographers have filed an official complaint of assault and all witnesses, including Mr. Brand, will be questioned about this." But the security staff involved have reportedly attended a local police station, apologized to the photographers and all charges have been dropped.
